Creative Inspirations #53 & Simon Says...

Hi girls. Thank you for popping in here today. I hope you like what you find here. That is if Blogger plays ball - I'm typing this post with three empty squares showing instead of photographs. I can only hope that in three hours time when this is posted the photographs will appear. If they don't please bear with me. Am I alone, or are we all having problems?
I made the card for two challenges. Creative Inspirations provided us a fantastic sketch and the theme over at Simon Says Stamps was "Easter or Spring with some glimmer" so I hope this qualifies. Wow one photo has just reappeared.
I inked up Magnolia's "Tilda with Tulips" and coloured her using my Copics. I cut her out and mounted her on a nestie cut from brushed silk card. I used plain pink card for matting and layering and the paper is "Hip and Luxurious Basics - Lush pink floral paper" by My Mind's Eye. The flowers are all homemade and are stickled and glimmer misted although it doesn't come out all that well on the photograph. Wow another one has popped up. The embellishments are all from my stash.
I hope you can find time to leave me a comment - assuming of course that you can see the card. I love reading your comments because they are so encouraging and helpful.

TWO AWARDS

I have been given two awards by Cheryl over at My Cardmaking Haven. Cheryl is from Sydney, Australia and for the last few months has been complaining about the extreme heat she has been suffering down under - Chance would be a fine thing I hear you say. It's been trying to snow here again over the last 24 hours. She has been a great encouragement to me and has a fantastic blog posting nearly every day so why not pop over to see her.
Thank you Cheryl for passing me these to me. I am truly flattered. Now I have to pass these on and would love to give them to
Joey at Joey's Stuff
Lesley at Pinkles Dreams
Linnie at Linnie Pink
These ladies have been regular visitors here and I have valued their comments and visits. Their blogs are fantastic and well worth a visit.

That's it for today so do have a great time and enjoy you crafting day.

  14. So very very pretty, gorgeous papers and lovely image.
In the craft shop on Sunday I noticed some K&Co embellishment packs, one had flower like you made, though not as nice and it was near £5 for 6.
