Just a Card

Hi there girls. Thank you for popping by to visit me here. I really am thrilled that you have called in. I hope you find something to your liking. I hope everything is well with you. There are so many of my regulars who are under the weather at the minute. Get well soon girls. Talking of the weather the white stuff is back and lying - not a lot but enough to let us know that winter still intends to linger a while.
Well by lunchtime today (Wednesday) my son ,John, and daughter-in-law, Sarah (Lil-paper-pixie) and their son Jonathan, will be here for 10 days. I'm really looking forward to it but I am expecting my stash to take a battering once Sarah gets into my craftroom Lol.
This card was made for the Sugar Bowl challenge that required us to use one of their old sketches but I clean forgot all about finding an old sketch and did my own so it's not being entered anywhere - a senior moment Lol. The image is Sugar Nellie's "First Dance" coloured with my Copics. I have actually paper pieced the bridal dress. I used pink Bazzil to matt and layer and make the flowers. The design paper I "First Kiss" from S.E.I. the image and flowers are stickled and glimmer misted and the embellishments are from my stash.
I hope you like this card and that you might snatch a minute to leave me a comment. I would love to know what you think of it. Your comments are so encouraging - I love reading them.
Have a great day crafting and go carefully.
Hugs,

  1. Hi Fiona - what a beautiful wedding card and such a pity you can't enter it anywhere. What about Papertake weekly which is Fill your boots /anything goes or the creative cottage - sparkle. I think your card would fit those. It would be a shame not to enter it somewhere as its so beautiful.
