Good morning girls. I haope that you are all well out there in blogland. A very warm welcome to my wee space on the Web. I hope you enjoy your visit here. Please feel free to browse as much as you want, I love sharing my little craetions with you and I hope they may even encourage you in your own crafting. The weather is definately making an attempt at improvement - we even got up to 6 degrees C today and the remnants of the snow in the garden is beginning to succumb.
I made this card for two challenges. The sketch was found in Penny Black's challenge blog and Allsorts challenge required a Mother's Day card. The stamp I used was Penny Black's "Allegro". I used Tombo Water Colour pens to colour the image. I "painted" the stamp with different shades of pink and green then spritzed it with water and quickly stamped it onto watercolour paper. The truth is I needed a few goes at this until I got what I wanted. The edges are deckled with scissors and I liberally applied stickles and sprayed some glamour dust although it doesn't show terribly well in the photograph. The papers are My Mind's Eye's Hip & Luxurious Basics "Lush Blue Diamonds" and Graphic 45's Baby & Bride Collection "Love is Blue".
The embellies are from my stash and the flowers are handmade.
If you like this card why not leave a comment letting me know what appeals to you. I appreciate it takes time but I really appreciate anything you have to say.
Enjoy your day and take care and thanks for calling in on me.
