Allsorts Challenge #42 - Just for Men

Hi fellow bloggers. I hope you are having a great day wherever you are and whatever you are doing. I really appreciate you taking the time to pop in here and I hope you find something to your liking. The weather continues to struggle toward Spring in this neck of the woods but there is still snow on the top of the hill you see in the photograph at the top of my blog. A grim reminder of what could easily come back.
On to brighter thoughts. As I have said often on my blog I am not comfortable with "men" cards but when I saw this Allsorts Challenge with the theme "Just for Men" I thought that it was time I grasped the proverbial nettle and had a go. I have kept it very simple (no, I'm not suggesting men are simple Lol.) in the hope that less is more. I have used an Inkadinkadoo stamp that I have used before but I thought it would be suitable. I used inks from Stampin Up. The papers are from Stampin Up and I have used Bazzil to matt and Layer. The ribbon is also from Stampin Up (guess whose daughter in law is a Stampin Up demonstrator).
I hope you like this very plain card. I would love to know what you think of it. If you think it is too plain please say so. Any comments you might want to leave will be welcomed and enjoyed.

AWARD

I have been given this award by Lisa over at Stampin for Sanity. Now I got this award from Lisa Jane at Mess2Magic last week but this gives me another opportunity to pass it on to some more crafting friends.
This time I would like to give it to
Linda at Payne Holler Cards
Angie at Handmade by Lilacanglia
Jo at Kingslake Crafts
Emma at Mrs Giraffe's Blog
Danielle at Paper Inspirations by Danielle
Cheryl at Mr Craftmaking Haven
Each of these ladies has been a good and faithful blogging friend. Enjoy the award ladies.
Thank you for calling and stay safe.
Hugs,

  7. I think this is perfect for a man, especially if they are anything like the men in my house who don't do fussy lol. It is a great colour, has the perfect image and just enough ribbon to enhance but not become fussy.

  18. I Do like your so called "plain" card. Men don't like frilly so it is just perfect! You shouldn't be uncomfortable at all about making cards for men you do it beautifully! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog. Your encouragement means so much. We all need a little boost from time to time, and you are a dear. Wishing I could send you some of the spring weather from Alabama. We are starting to get the warmer weather here. Stay warm friend,
