Cute Card Thursday #205 - DT Card

Hello ladies. I am afraid that Fiona is still struggling a bit although there has been a wee bit of an improvement and I hope she will be back blogging shortly. She has asked me to post her card for this week's Cute Card Thursday challenge. Fortunately she was well ahead with her DT work before she fell ill. The theme this week is

Winged Things

and the sponsor is Heather's Hobbie Haven.
Fiona made this card a few weeks ago at a class run by her friend Kathleen at The Daisy Chain. The cart wheel and canopy are done with the Iris Folding technique and she made the butterflies are heat embossed vellum.
Fiona sends her best wishes to you all and hopes to be back shortly.
Kind Regards,
William.

Cute Card Thursday #204 - DT Card

Hello ladies. It's me again I'm afraid. Fiona is still struggling with another chest infection and gets tired very easily. She had this card ready for this week's  Cute Card Thursday challenge and has asked me to post it for her. I'm afraid I don't have a description for you of what she used. She has done little or no blogging and I hope that she will feel a bit better soon because she misses your blogs a lot.
She wanted me to invite you to have a gander at the other DT cards on the challenge blog and enter the challenge for yourselves. The theme this week is

Flower Power

and the sponsor is Whimsy Stamps.

Best Regards,
William

Study in Lilac

Hi girls. You could be forgiven for thinking that I had dropped off the edge of the planet because I have not exactly been active in blogland lately. I am trying to keep my hand in but just don't have the energy most of the time. Anyway enough of that. A warm welcome and thank you for calling in on me. I hope that your week has started well and that you are enjoying your crafting and blogging.
I made this card with no challenge in mind. I simply fancied making something in shades of lilac. The image is Lilli of the Valley's "Best Friends" and is coloured using my Copics. The design papers is are from Papermania's "Capsule Boysenberry" and I have used lilac bazzil as a mount. The punched border across the middle is Martha Stewart's "Double Arches" and the flowers are from Wild Orchid. The ribbon, gems and stickles are from my stash and the corner is cut with a Cuttlebug Vintage die.
If you have time to leave a comment for me on this card I would love to hear what you think of it and any constructive criticism is more than wlcomed. I value your opinions.
Have a great day and stay safe and healthy.

Cute Card Thursday #202 - DT Card

Hi girls. Welcome to my wee blog. I am so pleased that you have had time enough to drop in on me. I hope that you enjoy your visit. I am afraid that I have still been missing from blogland because of my recent health but I am fortunately a few weeks ahead with my DT work so I can post this card for the new Cute Card Thursday Challenge where the theme is

Buttons and Bows

The sponsor this week is Love to Stamp so we have a fabulous prize up for grabs. The DT have produced some cards to help inspire you with ideas so hop over to the Challenge Site and have a look and have a go for yourself - we would love you to join in.
I have gone for a very simple layout. I have used a dark green card as the base. I have stamped a Hero Arts  Clings Wreath on a circular white card. I have then mounted numerous buttons an gems around it. The light green scalloped mount is bazzil. I used the same bazzil and white card to punch borders using a Martha Stewart punch. The ribbon is from my stash.
I hope you like it and that you might have a minute to leave a comment to let me know what you think. I love reading what you have to say.
I hope you have a great day, enjoy your crafting and blogging and above all stay safe and healthy.
