An Apple Girl

Hi girls. Thank you for calling in to see what is on my blog. I really hope you like what you find here and maybe even get some inspiration from it. I am quite excited because my eldest son, Sarah and Jonathan are coming to visit for a few days. I just hope I manage to keep well enough to enjoy the visit.
Anyway on to my card for today. I didn't make this with any challenge in mind and enjoyed getting to spend some time in my craftroom. I have used an image that I was given as a gift from a blogging friend and I have been dying to use it. I don't know what it is called so if anyone knows please let me know. I coloured it using my Copics. The papers are from Nitwit Collections and I have used Bazzil as a mount. The flowers are from Wild Orchid and Magnolia. The border is cut with an EK Success punch and the ribbon is from my stash.
I hope you like this and would love to hear what you think of it if you have time to leave a comment. Have a great weekend and stay safe and healthy.

Hi girls, thank you so much for calling in to visit me on my blog. I hope you like what you find here today. I made this card without any challenges in mind and just for the fun of making it although it took a good few visits to the craftroom to finish it.
The image is Lili of the Valley's "Fairy Friends" and I coloured it using my Copics. The papers are from the digital Nitwits Collections and the flowers are from Wild Orchid. The stickles, glitter and gems are all from my stash.
Any comments you might have to make will be more than welcomed. I value your opinions.

By The Cute and Girly - May

Hi girls. Thank you for calling in on my blog again. I am afraid that I am not being a very good blogger at the minute. I can't last long in the craftroom before I get tired and I have little or no energy. I am still regularly attending the doctor for blood tests to determine the warfarin levels I should be on but the results are very erratic and it is proving very difficult to settle things down. The doctor reckons it is due to the fact that I have been on antibiotics for a while. I just hope it settles down soon. I am looking at blogs but leaving very few comments - I have just so little energy.
This card took forever to make and is for the By the Cute and Girly Challenge where the theme is "Anything Goes". I have inked up Magnolia's "Midsummer dancing Tilda" and coloured her using a mixture of Promarkers and Copics. The papers are by MME, Rayher and Stampin Up and the flowers are by Wild Orchid. I used Martha Stewart punches for the borders and the leaves and the buttons and twine are from my stash.
I hope you like this card and would love your views on it if you have time. I hope you have a great day and above all stay safe and healthy.

MAWTT #98 - The Two Bs

Hi girls, thank you so much for calling in on me again today. I am so pleased to have you here and I hope you find today's offering pleasing to the eye. I still tire a bit too easily for my liking and I haven't done as much commenting as I would have hoped but I will try to catch up soon.
I made this card to enter into Moving Along With the Times where the challenge was to create a card with at least two things that begin with "B".
I have inked up Magnolia's "Butterfly Tilda" and coloured her using my Copics. The papers are digis from Nitwit Collections and the flowers are all from Wild Orchid. The ribbon, gems and stickles are from my stash. As far as the "Bs" are concerned there are Butterflies, Bow, Borders (punched with an MS punch) and a Bouquet.
I hope you like this but as always your comments are more than welcomed if you have time to leave one. I hope you have a good day and stay safe and healthy.

A Spoon Full of Sugar #151 & Creative Craft & Papertake Weekly

PLEASE SCROLL DOWN IF YOU WANT TO JOIN IN THE DRAW FOR MY CELEBRATION CANDY

Hi girls. Thank you so much for dropping in on my blog today. I am so glad to be back posting a card after my enforced break. I have so missed being able to blog and I am looking forward to visiting all my regular blogs to leave comments. I am still not back to normal but am a lot better than I was.
I am entering this card into challenges. A Spoon Full of Sugar gave us a fabulous sketch to follow, Creative Craft Challenges wanted Distressing/Vintage and Papertake Weekly had the theme "Fancy a Punch".
I have used Sugar Nellies digital image called "Verity Standing" and coloured her in using my Copics. The papers are from the bottom of my stash drawers and I am afraid I don't know the names of them. I used pale pink card as a mount. I used Tea Bag distressing ink to try to give the whole thing a vintage look. The small flowers were mde using a small retro punch and the ribbon is an irredescent tan and blue from my stash.
I hope you like this offering enough to leave a comment. I love reading what you have to say and your tips and suggestions are much appreciated.
Have a great crafting day and above all stay safe and healthy.

Double Celebration Candy

Hi girls. I am pleased to report that things are beginning to settle down a bit and that the medics are getting to grips with the warfarin doses I need to be on. I am still pretty tired but am dabbling a little in the craftroom which I didn't see the inside of for three weeks. I was so encouraged to receive all your good wishes and the beautiful cards some of you sent me. I am so fortunate to have so many faithful friends in blogland. I hope to be back commenting and catching up with all your wonderful blogs in the next couple of days.
In the meantime I have noticed that my blog has reached a double milestone. I have had 10,000 comments left for me and had 25,000 pageviews since I started so I have put together a wee candy gift to help me celebrate. If you want to enter the rules are simple:-
1. Leave a comment on this post saying you would like to enter.
2. Advertise my candy on your sidebar, and
3. Become a follower if you are not already one. - Please don't become a follower just to enter the candy, I only want you to follow if you like my blog and think you might visit fairly regularly and leave the odd comment now and again.
The candy will close at 9pm (BST) on Sunday 22th May.
I look forward to getting back into the swing and catching up with all your creations.
