This card was made for the Sugar Bowl challenge where we had a sketch designed by Judy to follow with the added requirement to include "stars". I inked up Magnolia's "Tilda - Ice Ballet Princess" and coloured her in using my Copics. I used pink Bazzil as a base card and the design paper is SEI Juliette. The sentiment is made from my Mother's Day gift from my son and dughter-in-law (Lil-paper-pixie). They gave me the JustRite "Just a Note" set. Wey Hey - you can look forward to a lot more circular sentiments from me in future.
The challenge asked for stars so that's why I have not used any handmade flowers but I used the poinsettia nestie in the centre as a compromise between stars and flowers. I don't think it looks out of place.
The embellishments and image are liberally decorated with stickles and glitter - I hope you can see some of it on the photograph.
I hope you will have a minute to leave me a comment to let me know what you think of this card. I love reading them because I value your opinions and I find them helpful. Thank you for calling in and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day, wherever you are and whatever you are doing.
I love this pretty card Fiona! Such stunning pinks and this Tilda has to be one of my favourites - such a girly girl!! The poinsettia die cut is superb on this and I love all the glitter and sparkle! That Just-Rite set is a lot of fun - enjoy!
