Hi girls. thank you for coming to visit today. I really appreciate your interest in my blog and I can only hope you enjoy your visit. I will not be around for most of the day today. I will be going to Carlisle to attend the funeral of a family friend my husband and I have known for nearly 50 years. He was a devout Christian and after a long illness his passing is a happy release.
I made today's card to send to his widow but decided to enter it into the Secret Crafters challenge since none of the family are likely to see it here. I have not shown the inside of the card because of the personal nature of the content. This card is similar to one that I did at a Stampaholics class a few weeks back. The idea and inspiration are not mine - they are Siobhan's, the owner of Stampaholics, whose creative talent never ceases to amaze me.
The stamp of the Bible is from an Inkadinkado set I bought after the class. The papers are Graphic 45 - Baby and Bride Collection -"Love is Blue" and the image is stamped on to a brushed silk paper. I have used different shades of green Bazzil for mounting and the punched border. I have used Nesties and Martha Stewart punches and a small retro flower punch. I have also used green seed pearls for embellishment.
I would love to hear your opinions on this card so if you have time to leave a comment for me it would be really greatly appreciated. I hope you have a happy and productive day.
Hugs,
