Create4Fun Wk 12 & Allsorts Wk 44 & Secret Crafters #75

Hi Girls. Thanks for calling in to my blog. I am pleased to have you here and I hope you will find something to encourage and please the eye. It's Friday again already and I hope you are all getting ready for the weekend. I suppose many of you will be at the NEC this weekend. Too far away for us up here so we can only wait to hear your stories of shopping conquests. If you are going , have a great time.
I have made this card in the hope that I can squeeze it into three challenges. Create4Fun who gave a fantastic sketch to follow, Allsorts Challenge with a theme of "Spring is in the Air" and Secret Crafters with theme of "Spring has Sprung". The stamp is "Stensilled Daffodils" by Penny Black. I used different watercolours on the varous parts of the stamp before stamping out the image. I do not have names for any of the papers and the embellishments are all from my stash. The flowers are homemade and I have turned up the petals to give extra depth to the card and

make them more springlike. They are shown in close up in the second photograph.
I would love to hear your views on this card. It would be great if you could find time to let me know what you think.
I hope you have a great day in whatever you chose to be doing. Stay healthy and safe.
Hugs,

  8. Hi Fiona, unfortunately I won't be going to the NEC, a little to far for my poor back to travel lol.
Love this card, the type of stamp you chose is normally one I would shy away from but you have really done it justice. I wouldn't of thought of using the likes of watercolours on the stamp, it gives an almost painted effect. Those flowers as always are a great finishing feature.
