Papertake Weekly Sketch #34 & A Spoon Full of Sugar & Tuesday Taggers

Hi girls. Well that' sValentine's Day for another year. After nearly 40 years marriage we don't make a lot of it. We leave that to the younger generation. It's Valentine's Day for us every day. Anyway I hope you all had a great time. My manners are appauling - I'm rabbiting on and I haven't welcomed you to my blog yet. It's great that you have had time to pop in and I hope you find something to your taste.
I made this card and intend to enter it into three challenges:
Papertake Weekly who provided a fantastic sketch to follow
A Spoon Full of Sugar where there was a recipe of 1 paper, 1 embellishment, 1 button and 1 ribbon
Tuesday Taggers where the theme was "Love" .
Well I followed the sketch used 1 paper Basic Grey's "Indian Summer", a small flower shaped button on the sentiment, 1 ribbon and the flowers are 1 embellishment as far as I'm concerned. The fact that the teddy is holding an envelope with a heart on it satisfies the love theme (or am I
stretching things too far?). I did also use some Bazzil Bling and punched edges with Martha Stewart Doily punch and embossed the lighter card with Swiss Dots.
The image is Lili of the Valley's "Teddy with Flower" and is coloured using my Polychromos Pencils and Sansador oil. The flowers are handmade and everything else is from my stash.
Well I hope you like this and would love to read any comments you are kind enough to leave for me - they really mean a lot to me.
Have a great day crafting and go carefully.
Hugs,

  15. I really love this apart from the image and your colouring being gorgeous, I love the colours you've used. Your punched border looks beautiful, I really need to invest in some Martha stewart punches, I think.
    Happy crafting
