Hi all. Welcome to my wee blog. I am very pleased you could find the time to drop in to see what is on offer. I really hope you find something to encourage the mojo juices to run and trust that you will like what you see.
I have to start with an apology. There was some sort of problem, the detail of which I am not aware, that delayed publication of yesterday's Crafty Sentiments Challenge. It has all been resolved so the challenge is here.
From the comments on the blogs I've been visiting the weather seems to be refusing to warm up and some even had snow yesterday. Roll on Spring.
Which brings me neatly to today's card which I made to enter three challenges. A Spoon Full of Sugar have "Spring is in the air" as their theme and Papertake Weekly's theme is "Check this out" - I'm hoping the yellow gigham ribbon will qualify for that., and Cute Daisy May where the theme is "Flower Power"
The image I have used is Sugar Nellie's "Birdhouse" coloured using my Copic Ciaos. I used yellow base card to mount the paper which is Stampin Up's "Old Olive". The ribon is from my statsh and the flowers are handmade with the edges inked for effect.

What a wonderfully spring card Fiona! The yellow is gorgeous and the image is so beautifully coloured! Your bright yellow flowers add the perfect spring touch to the card too! Let's hope all our spring cards melt the snow away fast!

ReplyDeleteyour card really perked me up as i am off work with a sickness bug. The colours are so cheerful and spring like ( my favourite time of year).
ReplyDeleteAnother thing that helped cheer me up was to discover i won last weeks crafty sentiments challenge - wow , i couldn't believe iot and can't wait to try this weeks challenge. Thanks for giving me the heads up about the challenge on your blog.
So... in between running to the bathroom and back ( probably too much information), i will hopefully get some crafting done
