Sunday Sketch & Stamp #18

Welcome to my wee blog. I'm so glad you have called in and I hope you enjoy what you see. It's astonishing that we are in 2010 already - it hardly seems like yesterday since we were celebrating the millenium. I'm still on holiday down with my son and DIL so this card has been made totally from stuff from Sarah's stash (proving to be a cheap way to craft). Pity we are going home later on today because the weather is due to close in up north and we want to beat it home.
I am entering the card into the Sunday Sketch and Stamp challenge where they provided a great sketch to use as a guide.
I used papers from the Basic Grey "Wassel" pad. The stamp is Magnolia's "Tilda with Peaches" coloured using Sarah's Promarkers. The flowers are handmade with gemstone centres.
I hope this pleases the eye and that you will feel inclined to leave a comment to let me know what you think of it. I love reading your comments and appreciate you taking the time to write them.
I hope the rest of your crafting day is rewarding.
Hugs,

Hope you get back home safe and sound! Tell himself to drive carefully, the roads are pretty icy still up here.

  4. I said it when I saw it IRL, this card is adorable I love it. Such a shame you had to go home today, pesky snow. Never mind, I will practice my cake Icing & Sewing machine sewing you taught me this visit and hopefully astonish you with my creations. Miss you and FIL already, wish you lived closer.

    Hugs
