Welcome to my little blog. I am so pleased that you have popped in and I hope you like what you see. The snow is definitely on the retreat and parts of the garden are beginning to reappear. If it keeps thawing I should be able to get out and about again in a few days - I should be so fortunate.
This card was made for the Winter Wonderland Challenge where there was a wonderful sketch to follow. I decided to ink up a Penny Black stamp called "Coming your Way". I love these PB stamps with the hedgies - I think that they are really cute. The papers are Basic Grey's "Eskimo Kisses" and "Merry Dots" from My Mind's Eye. I cut the gold Mirra corners with a Cuttlebug folder and the other embellies are all from my stash.
It's a great comfort to know that I now have a Christmas card up my sleeve already. Maybe I won't end up in the rush I had in 2009.
Thanks for coming by and please leave a comment so that I know you've been. Any views you want to express are welcomed. It helps to know what people like and don't like. Your valuable time is appreciated.

Hi Fiona, thanks for your good wishes on my blog, it is better today, and I do have extra strong painkillers, so I think I will be okay, as the Pain Clinic says I have to "pat myself on the back, to congratulate myself that I am still alive"...mmmmm, but it does work and make you smile......we are nearly clear of snow here in Edinburgh Yipee, are you going to Ikea or Costco any time soon?
ReplyDeleteI love this card and thank you so much for joining us at Winter Wonderland this week. I will pop over to Crafty Sentiments tomorrow.....take care, Hugs Avril xxx

Glad to hear the snow is going up there as well, we have a very wet day today, would be nice to have the windows or door open for more than a few minutes without getting cold or wet,or even go out.
