Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes

Hi girls. Thank you for dropping in on my blog. I hope you find something you like. How is your weekend going? Well the rain is back again with a vengence. We decided yesterday to go down to Hobbycraft in Edinburgh and left home in brilliant sunshine. As we joined the motorway a mile from home the warning signs said "Heavy rain forecast - expect flooding". We looked at each other in amazement. We were both in short sleeves and had no jackets with us and decided that the signs were wrong. Bad mistake lol. Never mind - rain never stopped anybody spending money.
I am entering this card into the current Papertake Weekly Challenge where the theme is "Anything Goes". I have used a Hangler & Stangler image coloured using my Copics. The design paper is "Kikkouhanabishi Eastern Treasures (silver glittered) by Kodomo Inc. I also used silver mirra card and coloured cardstock as mounts. The flowers and leaves are cut from Marianne Designs dies. The seam binding, gems, stickles and glitter are all from my stash.
I hope you like this card and would love to read any comments you might have time to leave for me. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and have fun crafting. Above all stay safe and healthy.

  4. I'm so sorry you trailed out to Edinburgh for me Fiona, I hope your crafty shopping made up for it though. And if it's any consolation we took the kids out to Pizza Hut for their tea last night, all of us in t-shirts and by the time we'd finished eating it was lashing rain :(
Your card is gorgeous, I can't decide whether she is folding her arms against the wind to keep warm or if she is having a little madam moment :)
