Hi girls. Thank you so much for dropping in on my wee blog. I am so glad you are visiting - I hope you enjoy what you find here. The weather here has been very changeable for a while but even when it's raining the temperatures are quite warm. Yesterday was very sunny so long may it continue. I hope you are all well and enjoying good health.
I was contacted over a year ago by Lynn over at the Craft and Waffle and asked if I would like to do a stint as a Guest DT for the Cute Card Thursday Challenge. At the time I had to decline due to ill health. She contacted me again this year and asked if I would like to guest for the month of August and I jumped at the chance. So this is my first card as a Guest DT. The challenge this week is to produce a card with
"NO DESIGNER PAPER"
- in other words make your own backgrounds.
I used a double sided card and stamped one side with an Artemio flourish using a Coral chalk inkpad by Memories. The other side of the card I embossed with a stylized flowers Cuttlebug folder. I then sanded the embossed patter to bring out the pattern. The ribbon and lace are from my stash and the punched border is made using a Martha Stewart punch. The flowers are by Wild Orchid.
