Pretty in Pink

Hi girls. Well thanks very much - William has taken great pleasure in telling me "I told you so" after you all agreed with him about yesterday's card.Lol. I stand corrected.
The weather went mad here yesterday. The wind got up to the degree that the swing seat in the garden was blown tumbling end over end across the garden.. It was chucking it down with rain and William got soaked running out to dismantle the seat and get it away into the garage. Where has summer gone?
Well this card is a bit more like my normal colours although I have reverted to using the dreaded peel-offs. The papers are both Stampin Up and are mounted on pink card. They are edged with gold peel-off strip and I turned over the top corner of the large panel to make it look as though the butterfly had been hiding underneath. The butterfly is a peel-off mounted on gold card. I used Magnolia's "Ballerina Tilda" and coloured her using a mixture of Copics and Polychromos Pencils. The white card with the image is mounted on a scalloped Nestie mount cut out of gold card.
I hope you like this card and look forward to hearing what you think of it. I really love to read your comments and hope you have time to leave me one.
I hope all goes well for you as we enter another new week. Take care and enjoy your crafting. I look forward to visiting your blogs to see what you have made.
Hugs,

  3. Sometimes only peel offs will do! They have a lovely shine to them which you can't get from other sources. They look fabulous here hun!
Our weather was a bit wooly here too, not so much rain though.
    Have a great day hun.

  4. hi hun, I have to admit I do have a selection of peel offs and I'm now not a fan of them at all anymore but sometimes they just have that one greeting or swirly design that works on a card and thats exactly what you've done and it looks super hun x
