A Matter of Opinion

Hi girls. It's great to have you visiting again. I hope you are having a wonderful weekend and that all my American friends are having a glorious Independence weekend. It is nice of you to take time to call in on my blog.
Now I must introduce this card by saying that after I made it I didn't like it one little bit but William thought that I was being over critical and that it had a distressed look about it. He thought that it was too far removed from my normal girly pinks and blues for me to like it much. I thought that I had made the white card with the image to dark with the brown stain. Anyway I will leave you to be the final judges. If you like it and leave me comments to that effect he'll no doubt be telling me "I told you so" on the other hand if you say you don't like it the boot will be on the other foot.
The image is Magnolia's "Tilda with Hearts" and she is coloured using Copics and Polychromos Pencils. the paper is From the Basic Grey Capella collection and is called "Mezzo cap 2404". The leaves were cut with an punch and the flowers and ribbon are from my stash.
So it's over to you ladies - tell me what you really think of this.

  1. The card does have a distressed look and is pretty but i do prefer(u asked for honesty)your normal colour choices which are so cheerful.
Of course your flowers are always gorgeous..pop over to my blog when you have the time?
