Penny Black #119 & Allsorts Wk 70 & Penny Black at Allsorts & Secret Crafters #101

Hi girls. I am so pleased to see you here today. I do hope everything is going well for you in every aspect of your day. I'm afraid I am struggling a bit. I had to go to the doctor last week and it transpired I had a kidney infection. Worse was the fact that the price for not going into hospital was that he got the nurse to catheterise me and I am to have that in for a fortnight - most uncomfortable and certainly not easy to sit at my desk to craft. I'll try to do a card each day but I am not promising.
Anyway, I managed this card (a bit simpler than my normal) and am going to enter it into 4 challenges. I used the sketch given by Penny Black and used three punches to make the two homemade flowers so that I could satisfy the criteria for Allsorts challenge - "At least 3 Punches" and Penny Black at Allsorts - "Punch away". Finally I am entering Secret Crafters where "Anything Goes".
I inked up Penny Black's "Fantasy" and heat embossed it using Detail Silver Embossing Powder. The papers are Magnolia Ink's "A Little Yummy for your Tummy - "Pink Chef Plaid" & "Pink Muffin Dot"", My Mind's Eye - Double Sided "Wild Asparagus" and Silver Mirra Board for mounting and the large flower punch. The ribbon and beads are from my stash and of course the flowers are handmade.
I hope you will be able to leave a comment to let me know what you think of this card. I love to read what you say so don't be shy.
Have a great day and stay safe and healthy.
Love and Hugs,

  9. Hi Fiona

I am so sorry if you get this message twice .. .. Mr Blogger hasn't been posting comments for me very well this morning!!! Perhaps he is being overworked! LOL!!!

I am also sorry to hear that your are not well at the moment. Poor you .. .. a catheter for two weeks!! That doesn't sound very nice. I hope the two weeks go quickly for you.

    Your card is lovely.

You have showcased that gorgeous tree beautifully with a great layout, papers and sentiment.

Thank you for sharing with Penny Black at Allsorts this month.

    Get better quick!!

    Love Jules xx

  10. Ah! I knew something wasn't right! At least you know what it is now eh? Plenty of fluids hun - I found Cranberry Juice was great for bladder infections, wonder if it will help for those kidneys? Helps to neutralise the acid, so they say.
Now, don't you go worrying about not blogging or crafting, you concentrate on getting rid of that infection hun.
    Warm hugs,
    Teri xx
