Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes

Hi girls. Great to have you calling in on my blog. I hope you enjoy your visit. I appreciate you taking the time.
Well it was snow clearing duties for hubby again yesterday since we had another 3 inches overnight. When will this ever stop. Believe it or not the water has got under our very expensive concrete/resin driveway and as it has frozen it has expanded and lifted huge sections of it. You can actually get your hand underneath at one point. I just hope it doesn't crack and that when we finally get some warm weather it settles back again.
Anyway, enough moaning and on to today's card. I am entering this card into the Papertake Weekly challenge where the theme is "Anything goes". I made it for my nephew's birthday. I find it so difficult to do cards for men but I thought this image from Stampin Up fitted the bill nicely. Since it was for a man I didn't go for the optional lace. The paper is "Laundry Line" from My Mind's Eye. The sentiment is a Justrite wood stamp.
If you have a spare minute I would greatly appreciate it if you could leave a comment telling me what you think of it. I love getting your feedback and love to know who has been looking at my blog.
Have a great day and manage to stay safe and healthy.

  5. HI Fiona, sending a big Aussie hug to you.Lovely to hear from you and hope you are feeling well and back to enjoying life much more. I to, find it hard to do male cards, it is like doing boy LO's.There is so many girlie things, but a lack of boy/man things, but I am certain your nephew will love this one.MME is one of the best paper companies ...my favourite. Stay warm and I hope that your driveway fares well and doesn't crack ...xx

  17. Beautiful card Fiona. Just a perfect male card. I think most of us struggle with them.

Sorry to hear about your drive, hope the damage isn't too bad. Sounds like an unwanted expense.
