Hi girls. Great to have you here on my blog today. I hope you enjoy your visit and find a little inspiration.
Now I have to apologise for a bit of bad planning. I made this card a few weeks ago for this week's DT gallery over at Cute Card Thursday and I didn't realise that I would be publishing two cards with the same image within three days. Still not to worry.
The theme for the new challenge is

We are sponsored this week by Kellie Winnell from Tickled Pink so there will be a wonderful prize up for grabs. So after you have had a look at the wonderful creations from the other DT members why not have a go and join in the fun.
I have inked up Magnolia's "Tilda Hugging Frosty the Snowman" and coloured her using a mix of Copics and Promarkers. The papers are from the My Mind's Eye "Oh Christmas Tree" collection with bazzil as a mount. The punched border is from a Fiskars punch and is mounted on top of an open weave ribbon. The glitter (which does not show well on the photograph) and the snow are from my stash. If anyone has any tips on how to get the glitter to show better on the photos please let me know.
If you have time to leave a comment I would be thrilled to read what you think of this card. Thanks for popping in. Have a great day and enjoy your blogging and crafting. Above all stay safe and healthy.

Simon Says .... Christmas Photomontage Inspiration

Hi girls. Thank you for calling in on me today. I really appreciate you taking the time. I just hope you find something you like. I am afraid I have been a poor blogger recently but I'm afraid Christmas preparations have caught up with me and I have been trying to help out my dear sister in law who is moving house at the end of the year. Her hubby, who is in his seventies, fell down from the loft when trying to move boxes and suffered severe bruising so we have been trying to help keep on schedule with the packing.
I am intending to enter this card into the current Simon Says ..... challenge where they gave us a photo montage to help us with some inspiration. The image is from Magnolia. It's Tilda cuddling Frosty the Snowman.I have coloured her with Copics and the design paper is from the Dovecraft Winter Wonderland 8" x 8" pack with some glitter card and bazzil. The pionsettia is cut using a Marianne Designs die and is heavily glittered on a Glossy Accents base. The leaves are cut with a LEM punch and the ribbon and gems are from my stash.
I would love to hear what you think of this card so if you have time to leave a comment I would be thrilled.
I hope you have a great day and above all stay safe and healthy.

Anyway welcome to my blog - hopefully browsing though it might prove to be a pleasant distraction. I am so pleased you have found a minute to drop in.
I am entering this card into this week's CES Challenges where the theme is "Bear Necessities". There must be a bear on the card. I have inked up a Tatty Teddy by Docrafts and embossed it using the matching embossing folder. I have coloured it using my Copics. The design paper is from a Tatty Teddy CDRom and I used bazzil as a basic mount with a panel of silver mirra card embossed with snowflakes. Cute Card Thursday #193 - DT Card

Hi girls. I hope you are enjoying better weather than we are here in Kinross. Strong winds, driving rain and sleet and low temperatures are the order of the day here.
Christmas is creeping up on us. I was at a fantastic concert on Tuesday night in Dunfermline. The twelve Primary Schools in the area all fielded their choirs of eight and nine year olds and they all sang a selection of Christmas songs and carols. We went to see our grandaughter in her choir and had very entertaining evening.
Anyway it's time again for the next Cute Card Thursday challenge where the theme this time is

It's Just a Number
(include a number on your card)

The challenge is being sponsored by our friends over at The Stamp Shoppe so there will be a fabulous prize up for grabs. Why not hop over to the challenge blog and see the creations the Design Team have come up with. Hopefully that will give you the urge to produce a card of your own and join in the fun.

My card is a 25th Anniversary card. As you can see it's a tri-fold design and the two views show it open and closed. I am afraid I have lost the details of the papers but I liked the sparkly hearts on the silver one and I thought the silver/grey paper was a good contrast. I used my Cricut to cut the turquoise solid and outline hearts and the numbers on the card. The ribbon and the sparkly sliders are from my stash.
I hope you like this card and look forward to reading any comments you are kind enough to leave for me. I love reading your opinions.
Have a great day, enjoy your crafting and above all, stay safe and healthy.

Creative Inspirations #139

Hi girls. Sorry I have been a bit tardy again. Good days and bad days I'm afraid. I'm so glad you have called in again. I hope you are well and having blogging and crafting fun. I trust that you might like what is on offer today. We are getting awfully close to December now so it's Christmas cards all the way for a while. I hope your preparations are well in hand.
I am entering this card into the Creative Inspirations Challenge where the theme is "Winter Colours". They are looking for creations in "Blue. Grey and White".
I have inked up Lili of the Valley's "Moonlight Wishes" and coloured her with Copics, silver ink and gel pens. The design paper is one of my digi papers and I used navy sparkly card and mirra card to mount.. The ribbon is silver grey and I used a Fiskars holly punch for the border. I am a bit disappointed with the photo because the poinsettias because they don't actually look as though they were cut from silver mirra card (but they were, honestly) and the copious amounts of glitter don't show very well. I used pearls for the centres of the poinsettias.
I hope you like (or dislike) this enough to leave a comment. I value your opinions. Have a great day and above all stay safe and healthy.

Cute Card Thursday # 190 - DT Card

Hi girls. A very warm welcome to my wee blog - it's fantastic to have you visiting here. I do hope you find some crafting delights that please the eye. We are getting well into November already so over at Cute Card Thursday the theme for the challenge this week is:

Reds for Remembrance

so we want to see plenty of red on your cards. This time round the sponsor who will be offering a fabulous prize for the lucky winner is Simon Says Stamp so after you have had a gander at the DT creations on the Cute Card Thursday Challenge Blog why not have a go for yourself and be in line to pick up a fantastic prize.

My offering this week is a very traditional Remembrance Day poppy card. I have used one of my favourite digi images created by Teri over at Delicious Doodles (her artwork is stunning - well worth a visit to her site). I have coloured this using a mix of Promarkers and Copics. The design paper is from the "No Worries" paper stack by GCD Studios and a spotted Bazzil (you need to zoom in tight to see the spots) as a mount. The second photo shows that I used a strip of the DP to embellish the inside of the card. The ribbon and "nail heads" are from my stash and the sentiment was created in Microsoft Word on my laptop.
I hope there is enough about this simple card (good or bad) to encourage you to leave a comment telling me what you think of it. I do value everything you say about my creations. I also love to know who has been visiting.
I hope you are having a good week so far, getting ready for the weekend and above all that you are managing to stay safe and healthy.
