Papertake Weekly #52 & Creative Craft - Monochrome Madness
Hi girls. Thank you for dropping in to my wee blog. I hope you are well having a great time crafting and blogging. I hope you enjoy your time here and find something sweet on the eye.
This card was made for two challenges. Papertake Weekly gave us a fabulous sketch to follow and Creative Craft had the theme of "Monochromatic Madness". I used a sailor Tilda, a pelican and a banner from one of the Magnolia Club sets. Everything is coloured using my trusty copics. The papers are from Stampin Up and I used Bazzil to mount. The ribbon is from my stash.
If you like this card or even if you see something that could be better please leave a comment to let me know what you think. I love to read what you say.
As we start another week I hope all goes well for you and that you enjoy your crafting. Above all stay safe and healthy.

Hi girls. the weekend is nearly over already. Where does the time go - is it an age thing? It seems to be flying in. Maybe crafting and enjoying all my blog hopping just makes time fly. It's good to have you visiting my blog. I hope you enjoy your time here and manage to take some inspiration or encouragement from what you find. I really appreciate you taking the time to call in.
My card today was made to enter into Mojo Monday following the wonderful sketch they gave us. The image is one of the new release Lili of the Valley Fairies, coloured using my Copics. The design paper is a a double sided Bo Bunny and I used Bazzil as a mount. The flowers are by Magnolia and I cut the leaves with a punch. the ribbon and gold glitter are from my stash.
I enjoyed making this card so I hope you like it. Perhaps you might even be able to find time to leave a comment - your views are more than welcome. I enjoy reading them so much.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend and take care. Above all stay safe and healthy.

Sunday Sketch & Stamp #45
Hi girls. Saturday again and the start of another weekend. I'm glad you have managed to find enough time to drop in. Hopefully you'll think your visit worthwhile - maybe even get some inspiration. I know I get a lot of ideas and help visiting your blogs.
My card today was made for the Sunday Sketch and Stamp Challenge where they gave us a fabulous sketch to follow. I printed out one of my new Sugar Nellie Digis called "Joy Sitting". I have coloured her usng my Copics. I think this is a beautiful image and I hope you think I've made a decent job of her. The papers are from Papermania "Capsule Collection, My Mind's Eye's "Pretty Please" and Basic Grey's "Indian Summer". I also used Bazzil as a mount. The flowers are by Wild Orchid and the stickles and glitter are from my stash.
I hope you like this card enough to leave a comment telling me what you think. I know it takes time to leave a comment but I so appreciate your help and views.
Have a great weekend, enjoy your crafting and stay safe and healthy.

Just for the Fun of It
Hi girls thank you for dropping in on my blog today. I so love having you visit and I hope that you find something here that will bring you back again. I trust that all is well in your world and that you are enjoying your blogging and crafting.
This card was made as a trial of a template that I purchased. I fancied the multifold it gives and just had to try it out. It's not for any challenge.

I've given a couple of piccies of it to try to show how it folds to show the flat image panel. I don't know the names of the papers I'm afraid. I punched the main edges with a Martha Stewart punch just to give it a bit more decoration.
The image is Lili of the Valley's "It's My Party". I love this little sweetie she really looks as though someone has given her the hump. She is coloured using my Copics. The flowers are from Wild Orchid.
I hope you like this card. I had a lot of fun just playing with this template and style of card. Perhaps you might get a chance to tell me what you think of it by leaving a comment. I would really appreciate that.

Just Magnolia #90 & Winter Wonderland & Stamp Something
Hi girls. Thanks for calling in to see me here on my blog - it's great to have you here. I hope all is well with you and that you are enjoying your blogging and crafting. It's fantastic to see some girls who have been missing for one reason or another starting to blog again. Blogland is getting a bit busier again I think.
I made this card with three challenges in mind. Just Magnolia gave us a fantastic sketch by Donalda, Winter Wonderland had a theme of "Pink and Purple" and Stamp Something wanted "Cute Somethings". I have inked up Magnolia's "Tilda Writing Diary" and coloured her with a mixture of Copics and Polychromos Pencils before cutting her out and mounting her on sticky pads to give depth. The design papers are I'm afraid not named and I have used Bazzil as a mount. The flowers and crystals are from Wild Orchid and I used a Martha Stewart punch for the border. The lace, stickles and glaze are from my stash.
I hope you like this card because I enjoyed making it - it's the first one made in my new craftroom. If you have a spare minute I would love it if you left a comment to tell me what you think of it. I do value your input and opinions.
Stay safe and healthy and enjoy what ever you are doing today.

LOTV #81 & Cute Card Thursday #148
Hi girls. Thank you for popping in here, it's great to have you visiting. I hope you find something to your liking.
Well I've had the first day in my new craft room and my friend Kathleen from The Daisy Chain was round in the afternoon. It was nice to see her again. I even managed to catch up with my blogging and commenting so it was a good day all round.
My card today was made for the Lili of the Valley Challenge following Dawny P's fabulous sketch and Cute Card Thursday who gave us a recipe of 1,2,3. I chose to do 1 ribbon and bow, 2 flower groups and 3 papers. The image is one of my new LOTVs called "Birthday Fairy". I coloured her using my Copics, The papers are Basic Grey's Cappella, and two from Graphic 45 Baby 2 Bride collection, "Birdy Baby Blues" and "Love me Tender". I used Bazzil as a mount. The flowers are from Wild Orchid and the gems and ribbon are from my stash.
I hope you like this offering and that you might be able to find the extra time to leave me a comment letting me know what you think of it. I value every comment left for me.
I hope you have a successful day with what ever you are doing and that you manage to stay safe and healthy.

ABC Challenge - M is for Magical
Hi girls. I hope all is well with you today and that you enjoy your visit to my blog. Hopefully you might even find something to inspire. I was a poor blogger again yesterday but there was a good reason and normal service will be resumed today.
When we moved to Kinross over 13 years ago hubby fitted out one of the smaller bedrooms with floor standing kitchen cupboards with drawers and a kitchen work surface just over 10 feet long on top of them so that he could use the room as an office/computer room. He has been retired for over 3 years now and I managed to convince him that it would make a better craft room with the work surface because he very seldom uses it. Well he agreed and last week he cleared out all his stuff and repainted the room, constructed a 10 foot long shelf above the work surface and shampooed the carpet. Yesterday he moved my desk, drawer units and Paper stands through and set everything up so that I now have a new bigger, better craft room with enough continuous surface for my laptop, printer, Cricut, guillotine and electric Big Shot. Hence an enforced day off crafting and blogging. Most importantly it is at the other side of the house and the sun will be shining into the room all day (unless, of course it's snowing Lol).
I had fortunately already made a card for the current ABC Challenge where the theme is "M is for Magical". I have inked up a Lili of the Valley Fairy and coloured her using my Copics. The papers are from Bo Bunny and are called "Winter Joy", "Peacock Lane Dot" and "Winter Joy Bundled". I have also used Bazzil as a mount. The flowers are from Wild Orchid and the pearls, ribbon and glitter are all from my stash. The borders are cut with a Martha Stewart punch.
I hope you like this card and that you might like to leave a comment to give me the benefit of your views on it.
Sorry for the long rambling post. I hope you have a great day and manage to stay safe and healthy.

Today's card was made for the Papertake Weekly Challenge where the order of the day was "Ribbons and Pearls". I have inked up one of my new Lili of the Valley stamps called"The Little Things" and I have coloured it using my Copics. Doesn't that pair look cute. The paper is double sided from American Crafts and are called "Truly Inspiring" and I have used Bazzil as a mount. The flowers are Wild Orchid and I have used Martha Stewart border and leave punches. The pearls and ribbon are from my stash.
I hope that if you see something in this card worth commenting on that you will be able to find an extra minute to let me know what it is. I love to hear from you.
I hope that as you start off a new week that everything you plan goes well and that you enjoy your crafting. Above all stay safe and healthy.

Sunday Sketch & Stamp #45 & A Spoon Full of Sugar #135
Hi girls. The weekend is upon us again and I am really pleased that you have found some time to visit my blog where I hope you will find something you like. I hope you are enjoying your crafting and blogging and maybe even find some inspiration here.
I made this card for two challenges. I followed the fabulous sketch Emma gave us over at Sunday Sketch & Stamp and A Spoon Full of Sugar wanted "Blue and Green". The image is one of the new Lili of the Valley Fairies and is coloured using my trusty Copics. I have used odds and ends of papers and two sheets of printed vellum - 1 blue and 1 green. The hydrangeas are by Laura Ashley - I found them languishing in the bottom of one of my stash drawers and I have used some glitter.
I hope you like this card enough to leave me a comment. I love reading your views and really appreciate all of you who take the time to leave something.
Please enjoy your weekend and above all stay safe and healthy.

Sketch Saturday #138 & Secret Crafter #117 & Creative Inspirations #51
Hi girls. Thank you for coming across the ether to visit my wee blog. I am so pleased to have you here. I hope you are all keeping well. I know that some of you have been under the weather of late so I hope you are feeling a bit better. Yesterday was a bit of a bad day for me so I rested most of the day although I did get some commenting done later on in the evening. Hope fully I'll be a bit more like myself later today.
I had this card made for three challenges. Sketch Saturday gave us a fabulous sketch to follow, Secret Crafter had a theme of "With Love" and Creative Inspirations had the theme of "Celebrate". The image is a new Lili of the Valley "Fairy with Dandelion Clock" and I have coloured this little charmer with my Copics and Polychromos Pencils. The papers are printed from a CD Rom I have. The embellishments are Wild Orchid Baby's Breath Flowers. I used a Woodware leaf punch for the leaves. The ribbon, stickles and glitter are from my stash. The punched border was cut with a Xcut punch.
Close up of the Baby's Breath Flowers.
I hope you might have time to leave a comment to tell me what you think of this card. I really value your opinions and always get help from what you have to say.
I hope you are ready for the weekend and that you have lots of interesting things lined up. Take care and above all stay safe and healthy.

Fussy & Fancy Friday #28
Hi girls. Thank you for popping in to see me today, I really appreciate you taking the time to visit. I trust that things are well with you. The back of the week is broken now so we can start looking forward to the weekend. I am afraid that I did not have the best of days after my trip to the hospital on Tuesday and didn't manage yesterday to get round as many blogs as I usually do, so please bear with me and I'll catch up eventually.
My card today was made for the Fussy and Fancy Friday challenge following the great sketch they gave (although I haven''t put a sentiment on it - I used a flower instead). I have combined two magnolia images, "Tilda" and "Fairytale Dandelion Background". Tilda is coloured using my Copics, the dandelion is heat embossed and then the leaves are coloured using my Copics and then I have covered them with glossy accents but it doesn't show too well on the photograph. The papers are Basic Grey Dasher and another two I don't know the names of. I have used Bazzil to mount. The ribbon and Wild Orchid flowers are from my stash.
I do hope you like this offering and I would love to know what you think of it so if you can spare a minute please leave me a comment letting me know what you think. I love reading your views.
I hope you have a great day today but above all stay safe and healthy.

Moving Along with the Times #81 - Make your Dreams Come True
Hi girls. Welcome to my little corner of blogland. I hope all is well with you and that you enjoy your visit here. I am afraid that my excursion to hospital yesterday delayed my blog visiting so if I missed you I'm sorry but I'll try to catch up. The good news is that according to the Technician my heart seems to be OK and the oxygen problems I've been having are due to the scarring on my lungs due to the various bouts of pneumonia I've had.
There's a story attached to my card today. I thought I would be able to combine the challenges at Lili of the Valley "Things with Wings" with the challenge over at Moving Along With The Times -" Make your Dreams Come True" by using a fairy image. Trouble was that when I had finished I had used an image that I got free with a magazine instead of a LOTV - a "Senior" moment so I am only entering one challenge with it. The image is coloured using my Copics and the paper is printed from a CD Rom and I used lilac Bazzil as a mount. The flowers are by Wild Orchid and the turquoise lace, gems and glitter are from my stash.
I hope you might have a minute to leave me a comment to let me know what you think of this card. Your comments are appreciated. In the meantime I hope you have a great day and stay safe and healthy.

Whiff of Joy #95
Hi girls. Thanks for calling in today. I hope you enjoy your visit. If there is anything here that motivates you to craft then I'll be more than happy. I hope you are having a great day.
I'm off to hospital today for an echocardiogram to see that the old ticker is doing it's job well so I am hoping that the test is fairly straightforward.
Anyway my card today is for the latest Whiff of Joy challenge where we were given a fabulous sketch to follow by Jane. I have used "Willow with Flowers" and coloured her using my Copics. The papers are printed from one of my CD Roms and I have used Bazzil Dots. The butterflies are cut using a Martha Stewart punch and an unnamed punch. The large flowers are cut using a Marianne Designs die and the gems and ribbons are from my stash.
I hope you might have a minute to leave a comment letting me know what you think of this card. Your views and opinions are much valued. Enjoy the rest of your crafting day and above all stay safe and healthy.

Papertake Weekly - Cold and Frosty Morning
Hi girls. What a shock I got yesterday morning when I awoke - there was not a drop of snow left to be seen. The heavy overnight rain had finished it off. I hope that is it for good.
I am so pleased that you have been able to find time to pop in on me today. I hope you find something to make your visit worthwhile. Is it just me or has blogland been very slow the last few days? There doesn't seem to be as much traffic as usual. Anyway I'll just plod on and hope things pick up.
I made this card for the Papertake Weekly challenge where the theme was "Cold and Frosty Morning". I have inked up Magnolia's "Tilda with Snowman" and coloured it with my Copics. The design paper is My Mind's Eye "O Christmas Tree" which has glittered stripes and Bazzil as a mount. The punched border is made with a Fiskars punch and the ribbon and glitter are from my stash of goodies.
I enjoyed making this card and I hope you like it. If you have any helpful hints or observations to make please don't be shy and leave a comment to let me know what you think. I so love reading what you have to say.
I hope as you start a new week that everything goes well for you and that you enjoy your crafting and blogging and stay safe and healthy.
An Award from Antwerp
I have been given this award by my blogging friend Martina over at Martina's Kaartjes. Thank you so much Martina. She has a fabulous blog so why not nip over and visit her. I was given this award a few weeks ago and I have already given the required facts about myself and passed it on so I won't do it again so soon after but if you are a follower and want to take it please do so. You will have to give 3 facts about yourself and pass it on to 5 other bloggers.

Mojo Monday #173
Hi girls. I hope you have had a great start to the weekend. Thanks for taking the time to call in on my blog. Hopefully you'll find some inspiration here. How's your weather? I has rained solid here for two days and shifted most of the snow. Now we have a garden under water. Never satisfied am I? lol.
I made this card following the sketch on Mojo Monday challenge. I inked up Lili of the Valley's "Little Nurse" and coloured this cute pair using my Copics and Promarkers. The papers are Fancy Pants Designs - fancy free collection, Mulberry Road, English Rose. I used Bazzil to mount. I used a Martha Stewart Punch for the border and a Stampin Up Punch to make the handmade flowers. Everything else is from my stash.
I hope you like this offering and that you might have a minute to leave a comment to let me know what you think of it. I really enjoy reading what you say.
Well I hope you enjoy the rest of the weekend and get a chance to do some crafting and blogging. Take care and stay safe and healthy.

Sketch Saturday #137
Hi girls. Glad you could find time to drop in on my blog today. I can only hope that you find something that brings a smile and helps the creative juices while you are here. I hope that you have a great weekend planned and that you get some opportunity to create something for yourself.
My card today was made following the sketch given in the Sketch Saturday challenge. I am cutting it close to making the deadline for this challenge but I hope I can just squeeze in in time.
This is a different take on an easel card. The back mounting card is folded diagonally so that when the from card is mounted it sits across the base at an angle. I have inked up a new Magnolia that I don't know the name of and coloured her using my Copics. The papers are Tim Holtz Shabby Chic and Bazzil to mount. The flowers are home made (it's a while since I made any) and I used a Martha Stewart border punch to make the top right corner and the bottom edge of the top left panel. The pearls are from my stash.

A Sticky Problem
Hi girls. Great to have you here again. I hope all is well with you and that you are enjoying your crafting and blogging.
I originally made this card following the sketch on the Wild Orchid challenge and had intended to enter it there but I forgot to use any Wild Orchid products on it so I can forget that. I am therefor not entering it into any challenges but wanted to show you it because I really like the image. It's a House Mouse from Joanna Sheene. I heat embossed the image with copper embossing powder then coloured it using my Copics. I finished off the poor chap who has obviously fallen into the Chocolate Dip with Glossy Accents although it doesn't show terribly well in the photograph. I hope it looks as though he is covered in chocolate. The papers are Doodlebug, Rayher Hobby and "Autumn Harvest Dotted Stripe" from The Paper Company. The ribbon and peel-offs (yes I said peel-offs) are from my stash.
I hope you like this little offering and I would love it if you had a minute to leave me a comment to let me know what you think.
In the meantime I hope you have a great day, stay safe, be healthy and enjoy your crafting. I hope you have a good weekend.

ABC Challenge - L is for Lace
Hi girls. What a pleasure to have here on my blog. I am glad you were able to spare the time to visit. I hope you find it time well spent. Well no further snow here just very low temperatures after the thaw on Monday so the drive and patio were like an ice rink. Oh for warmer weather. I hope wherever you are things are a bit warmer.
I am beginning to get into my stride a bit and am managing a card each day just now so I hope it continues for a while. For today's card I have followed the sketch for the ABC Challenge where this weeks theme is "L is for Lace". I have inked up Lili of the Valley's "Apple Blossom Fairy" and coloured her using my Copics. The design papers are actually scraps from my paper stash drawer mounted on Bazzil Bling. The flowers are by Wild Orchid and the leaves and glitter (there is glitter although it doesn't show too well) are from my stash. I used lace ribbon from my stash but threaded a narrow pink ribbon through one edge.
I hope you like this offering today and that you might have a minute to leave me a comment to tell me what you think of it. I value your input.
Have a safe happy and healthy day and enjoy your crafting and blogging.

Just Magnolia - Anything Goes
Hi girls. Nice to have you here visiting my blog. I hope you find something to interest you and perhaps even inspire you. Good news is we have had no more snow here and yesterday brought a bit of a thaw - floods next do you think?
My card today is for this current Just Magnolia challenge where the theme is "Anything Goes". There is an added option to use buttons but I did not take that up. The image I have inked up is one of my new Magnolia Club stamps which is from the Wedding Collection, called "Tilda with Peony".I have coloured her using Prisma Colours, Copics and Polychromos Pencils. The design paper is "Sweet Dreams" by Craft House and I have used Bazzil to mount. The flowers are from Wild Orchid and the other bits and bobs are from my stash.
I would love to hear your opinions on this card if you have time to leave a comment. I really appreciate you taking the time to make the effort. I also like to know who has been visiting. Thank you for taking the time to visit and have a great day in whatever you do. Above all stay safe and healthy.

Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Hi girls. Great to have you calling in on my blog. I hope you enjoy your visit. I appreciate you taking the time.
Well it was snow clearing duties for hubby again yesterday since we had another 3 inches overnight. When will this ever stop. Believe it or not the water has got under our very expensive concrete/resin driveway and as it has frozen it has expanded and lifted huge sections of it. You can actually get your hand underneath at one point. I just hope it doesn't crack and that when we finally get some warm weather it settles back again.
Anyway, enough moaning and on to today's card. I am entering this card into the Papertake Weekly challenge where the theme is "Anything goes". I made it for my nephew's birthday. I find it so difficult to do cards for men but I thought this image from Stampin Up fitted the bill nicely. Since it was for a man I didn't go for the optional lace. The paper is "Laundry Line" from My Mind's Eye. The sentiment is a Justrite wood stamp.
If you have a spare minute I would greatly appreciate it if you could leave a comment telling me what you think of it. I love getting your feedback and love to know who has been looking at my blog.
Have a great day and manage to stay safe and healthy.

Sketch & Stash #52
Hi girls. Thank you for calling in to my blog to see what is on offer - I hope you are not disappointed. I would love to think that my creations might just help to inspire you in your own crafting.
The snow came during the night yesterday and we woke up to another 4 or 5 inches. It really is getting beyond a joke. William was going to take me into Perth to visit my favourite shop, Stampaholics, but snow and crutches or wheelchairs just don't go well so we had to abandon plans. It was disappointing because Siobhan is closing the shop in a few weeks because the recession has struck business significantly. She now has a full time job in Ninewells Hospital in Dundee but is managing to keep the shop going for a little time yet. She, and the shop, will be sorely missed. She has been a major influence on my crafting. It snowd again all evening on Saturday so I guess I'll be housebound for a bit longer - a great excuse to do some crafting.
Anyway on to my card for today. I am following the sketch given by Sketch and Stash and have inked up a new Lili of the Valley image called "Coffee Break" coloured using my Copics. The papers are by Meridian Inc. and I used peach card as a mount. The flowers are by Wild Orchid and the leaves are made using an LEM.co punch.
If you like this card or have anything you would like to say about it I would be so grateful if you leave me a comment if you have time. I really value what you say.
I hope you enjoy the rest of the weekend and avoid the snow. In any case stay safe and healthy.

Mojo Monday #172
Hi girls. Great to have you caling in here today. I hope you enjoy your visit and like what you find on my wee blog.
Believe it or not it tried to snow again here last might. It's still bitterly cold but more snow would just be passed a joke.
Well my card for today was made following the sketch for Mojo Monday's latest challenge. I inked up one of the new Magnolia's from my latest Magnolia Club set and coloured her using my Copics and Polychromos pencils. The papers are Bo Bunny's "Winter Stripe" and others from DCWV 12x12 Luxury Stack. I used Bazzil Bling as a mount. The embellishments are a mix of flowers from my stash and Wild Orchid and Wild Orchid leaves. I also used stickles and glitter.
I would love to know what you think of this card so if you can spare a minute to leave a comment I would really appreciate your opinions. Your contributions are invaluable as far as I'm concerned.
I hope you ahve a wonderful weekend to recharge the batteries and enjoy some crafting. Above all stay safe and healthy.
