Creative Inspirations #99

Hi girls. I hope you are well as we have started another week and settled back into work routine. I am so pleased that you have found time to visit my blog and I hope you regard it as time well spent when you see what is on offer.
My card today is being entered into the Creative Inspirations challenge where the theme was "Plain and Simple". I used a Hero Arts "Dandelion" stamp and heat embossed the image with lilac embossing powder onto the plain white card - no design papers at all. I also stamped the image on the inside but didn't emboss it there. I cut an aperture with a nestie and used the cut-out for the sentiment which is Stampendous "Footprint Friends". I coloured the lilac background for the sentiment and glued it on the inside of the card to line up with the aperture. I added small butterflies inside and out and couldn't resist puting a small lilac bow at the bottom. I didn't half struggle with this one because I am used to using copious amounts of design papers, flowers and embellies.
I would love to know what you think of this because I am well out of my comfort zone with this simple look. It would be greatly appreciated if you could find time to leave a comment.

Another Award

I have been given this award for the second time, this time from Denise over at The Crafty Den. I am acknowledging the fact by way of this post. I then have to pass this on to 3-5 bloggers who have less than 3000 followers nd invite them to accept this TAG.I have chosen to pass this on to the following well deserving bloggers:-

Tracy over at Country Mouse
Claire over at Claire's Crafty Corner
Vee over at Veronica's Designs

So ladies you have been TAGGED. Want to participate? Then create a post where you post the 'LOVE BLOG' image. You should also blog the person's link that gave you the award and inform her/him that you accept the award. You can then choose 3 - 5 favourite blogs which you also link in your post, then you inform each blogger that they have been tagged.....
I hope you will accept this award....

Enjoy your crafting and blogging and above all stay safe and healthy.

  10. Just gorgeous Fi - I love the stamp and the embossing really brings it out and the way you have mirrored the image inside looks lovely too. Simple cards always seem the hardest don't they, cos we are used to piling on the paper and embellies LOL. Thank you too sweetie for the award which I accept with pride. Have a faby day! Hugs, Claire x
