Hi girls. Thank you for calling in on me. I am afraid that I am still not crafting. I have spent the last fews days in bed because my back is really sore. The pain coming through from my kidneys has stopped me from doing anything. The first week of antibiotics has brought only marginal improvement but according to the doctor that is fairy common when you have a catheter in so he has given me a second course to take over the next week.
I have been looking at blogs but I have been very tired and haven't left many comments. please bear with me - I will catch up. Thank you so much for all the get well messages you have left for me. Your friendship, support and most importantly, your prayers has been a great comfort and encouragement. I will be back as soon as I can.

Sorry, No Card Today
Hi girls. Thank you for calling by to my blog. I appreciate you taking the time. I am afraid that I have had to give in to this kidney infection. My back is sore at the best of times but the infection seems to be causing additional pain and discomfort across my lower back and I just can't sit at my desk. The catheter is very uncomfortable if I move about too much so I spent the whole of yesterday in bed because it's the only way I can get comfortable at all.
I have no card to show you today but I have managed to do a fair bit of blog visiting and commenting because I have my laptop in bed. I don't know when I'll be able to make anything but at least I can still have the enjoyment of looking at all your fabulous creations. I hope to be back soon but until then keep safe, healthy and busy crafting. Enjoy the weekend.

Penny Black #119 & Allsorts Wk 70 & Penny Black at Allsorts & Secret Crafters #101
Hi girls. I am so pleased to see you here today. I do hope everything is going well for you in every aspect of your day. I'm afraid I am struggling a bit. I had to go to the doctor last week and it transpired I had a kidney infection. Worse was the fact that the price for not going into hospital was that he got the nurse to catheterise me and I am to have that in for a fortnight - most uncomfortable and certainly not easy to sit at my desk to craft. I'll try to do a card each day but I am not promising.
Anyway, I managed this card (a bit simpler than my normal) and am going to enter it into 4 challenges. I used the sketch given by Penny Black and used three punches to make the two homemade flowers so that I could satisfy the criteria for Allsorts challenge - "At least 3 Punches" and Penny Black at Allsorts - "Punch away". Finally I am entering Secret Crafters where "Anything Goes".
I inked up Penny Black's "Fantasy" and heat embossed it using Detail Silver Embossing Powder. The papers are Magnolia Ink's "A Little Yummy for your Tummy - "Pink Chef Plaid" & "Pink Muffin Dot"", My Mind's Eye - Double Sided "Wild Asparagus" and Silver Mirra Board for mounting and the large flower punch. The ribbon and beads are from my stash and of course the flowers are handmade.
I hope you will be able to leave a comment to let me know what you think of this card. I love to read what you say so don't be shy.
Have a great day and stay safe and healthy.

Friday Sketchers #120 & Just Magnolia #73
Hi girls. Good to have you here in my little corner of blogland. I hope that you are having a happy and productive week crafting and working if you have to work.
I made this card with two challenges in mind. Friday Sketchers gave us a wonderful sketch to follow this week and Just Magnolia asked us to "Lace it Up". I have used one of my favourite Tildas, "Midsummer Dancing Tilda" and coloured her using my trusty Copic Ciaos. I have used two My Mind's Eye papers from the Lush collection. they are "Blue Diamonds" and "Blue Floral" (although I must say I think they are more turquoise than blue). I added "Love is Blue" from the Baby and Bride collection by Graphic 45. The lace is from Wild Orchid as are most of the flowers and heart crystals. Anything else is from my stash.
I trust that you will like this card and I look forward to reading any comments you are kind enough to leave for me. I know it takes more time but I so enjoy reading what you have to say.
Have a great day and stay safe and healthy.

Charisma Cardz #37 & MAWTT #64
Hi girls. Thank you so much for calling into my little blog today, I am really pleased to have you here. I know it takes up valuable time and I appreciate you making the effort and I hope you find something here that appeals to the eye. I hope everything is well in your world and that you have been enjoying your crafting time.
I made this card to enter into two challenges. Charisma Cardz gave us a fabulous sketch to follow and Moving Along With the Times (MAWTT) had a "Christmas" theme. I used another new stamp from Joanna Sheen, Giordana's "Wonderful Christmas". These were a surprise gift from my hubby - he's can be very thoughtful sometimes. He bought me three so I still have another to use - watch this space. The design paper is Basic Grey's "Eskimo Kisses - Snowglove" and I used some silver card and green Bazzil. I coloured this using my Copic Ciaos. I used a Sizzlets "Poinsettia" to produce three flowers and embossed the edges with partial success and coloured them with my Copics. I used plenty glitter which never seems to come out well in photographs and everything else is from my stash.
I hope you like this card and would love to hear your views is you have an extra minute to leave a comment. I love hearing from you.
Enjoy your day and stay safe and healthy.

Crafty Creations #85
Hi girls. Thank you for calling in to see what I have on offer for today. I am so pleased you could find time and I hope your effort is rewarded with something that pleases the eye. I hope all is well with you and that your week has started off successfully. Healthwise I am struggling a wee bit again but I won't go into detail. The doctor mentioned the dreaded word - "Hospital" - but I managed to persuade him I am being well looked after at home. I hope things don't get any worse - I need to be crafting Lol.
I made this card to enter the Crafty Creations challenge where they have the theme "Music and or Dance". An ideal opportunity to ink up Penny Black's "Ode to Joy", coloured with a mix of Copics and Polychromos Pencils. I used both sides of Papermania's silk screened paper, "Gold Ornate" and Bazzil card to mount. The corner punch is from Martha Stewart and all the other embellishments, ribbon and pearls are from my stash. Now this is a landmark card - there are no flowers - Wey Hey!!
I enjoyed making this card and I hope you like it. It would be greatly appreciated if you could find the time to leave a comment to let me know what you think. I appreciate everything you say.
I hope you have a great day but above all stay safe and healthy.

Sketch & Stash #44
Hi girls. Thanks for calling in on me. I really appreciate you taking the time. I only hope you think your visit worthwhile and that you find something to your liking.
I made this card for the current Sketch and Stash challenge following the wonderful sketch they provided. It gave me a chance to ink up my new Giordana stamp from Joanna Sheen. It's called "Snowman". I coloured it using my Copic Ciaos. The papers are Basic Grey's "Eskimo Kisses - finial" and My Mind's Eye, "The Merry Days of Christmas - pajama plaid". I haven't used very many embellishments but the snowflakes are cut from an old holographic card I had in my stash. The ribbon and glitter, which I have used in copious amounts (although it doesn't show too well in the photograph), are from my stash.
I would really appreciate it if you could find time to leave me a comment. I love reading what you have to say. Please don't be shy - tell me exactly what you think.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend and stay safe and healthy.

Stamptacular Sunday #76 & Cutie Sunday #90
Hi girls. Thank you for coming in to see my blog. I hope that what is on offer is to your liking and that it might even help to stimulate your crafting mojo. I'm glad to say that yesterday was a far better day for me healthwise. I feel a bit more human again and if I get no worse I'll be happy. I appreciated all your well wishes over the last few days. It's amazing how much love and concern is out there in blogland. You are a very special bunch and your friendship and concern is valued.
I made this card with three challenges in mind but to my absolute horror it dawned on me after I had finished it that Totally Tilda wanted home made flowers and I used bought flowers on this card. Can yo believe that I passed up a challenge calling for handmade flowers!!!
I am entering this into the Stamptacular Sunday and Cutie Sunday challenges. Stamptacular Sunday gave us a fabulous sketch and Cutie Sunday wanted "Pretty in Pink". The image is Magnolia's "Tilda in Dalcarlia Coat" and she is coloured using my Copic Ciaos. the design papers re Basic Grey's "Green at Heart", SEI's Juliette "First Kiss" and some Bazzil Bling. The flowers are from Wild Orchid and everything else is from my stash.
Stamptacular Sunday are also helping Operation Write Home to enable our serving troups to keep contact with home and If you send you card away you qualify for an opportunity to win an extra prize.
I would appreciate any comments you wish to leave on this card. I value and appreciate anything you have to say about my creations and more importantly It's nice to know who has been visiting - I can then visit back.
Have a great weekend and stay safe and healthy.

Basic Grey #28 & Secret Crafters #100
Hi girls, it's great to have you visiting my blog. I appreciate you taking the time. Yesterday was not particularly good again and I spent most of the day resting my back but got up after tea to make this card for the Basic Grey challenge where the requirement was Paper Piecing. I used the sketch from Secret Crafters and am entering it into both challenges.
I inked up Magnolia's "Tilda with Thistle" and also the miniature version of the same stamp. The tartan dresses and bows in their hair are paper pieced and the images are coloured using Copics. The design Papers are both from Basic Grey's "Wisteria" pad. The ribbon and pearls are from my stash and the flowers are modified Prima flowers.
I hope you like this card and that you will be able to find the extra time to leave a comment for me letting me know what you think of it. Your views and opinions are valued and helpful. Please don't go without letting me know you have been here.
Thank you for visiting and have a great day. Stay safe and healthy.

Just a Card
Hi girls. Thank you for calling in to see me today. I appreciate your time and interest. This will be a very short post because I did not have a good day at all yesterday. Still feeling very sick and my back is giving me problems. Sleep at night has been very difficult to come by. I did not craft yesterday at all. I managed a few comments - if I missed you I'm sorry.
For that reason I am posting a card I made some weeks ago for a birthday and have never posted. It is not being entered into any challenges and I can't find the notes I made at the time with all the details of the papers etc. I hope you like it anyway and would love to hear your opinions if you have time to leave a comment. I hope I'll feel able to do some crafting tomorrow.
Stay safe and healthy.

Sugar Bowl #43
Hi girls, thank you for calling in to my blog. It's a delight to have you here. This will be a relatively short post because I had a bad day yesterday. I felt sick most of the day and even had to put Kathleen from The Daisy Chain off from coming in the afternoon. I rallied a bit late on and managed to finish this card for the Sugar Bowl challenge with a bit of a struggle.
They provided a fabulous sketch but wanted buttons added as an embellishment. I inked up "Pringle" by Sugar Nellie and coloured him using my Copics. The main papers are both from Magnolia's "A Little Yummy for Your Tummy". They are "Pink chef plaid" and "Pink Muffin Dot". I also used lilac Bazzil dot card and plain purple cardstock. The buttons, bow and purple organza ribbon are from my stash as are the Wild Orchid flowers.
I hope you like this card and that you might find a minute to leave a comment telling me what you think of it. I really appreciate your time and value everything you say.
Have a great day and stay safe and healthy.

ABC Christmas & Creatice Inspirations #77
Hi girls, nice to have you here on my blog for a look see. I hope you find something you like here. The weather has really gone for a burton here - heavy rain and winds. has our Indian summer gone for good? Ah well it's all a good excuse for spending time in the craftroom and I have Kathleen from The Daisy Chain visiting this afternoon so that will be fun.
I made this card for entering into two challenges. ABC Christmas - "S" is for Santa. the twist was that There was to be no Red on Santa. Now that really was a challenge - it just doesn't seem right does it? Secondly, Creative Inspirations where the call was for "Lace and Sparkle". There was another challenge that asked for "Transportation" and I wondered if it would qualify for that if I claimed that Santa's sleigh was parked just out of the picture LOL. Thought that might be a bit of a stretch though.
I decided to go for a card with a distressed look. I used Magnolia's "Santa Delivering Presents" and coloured him using my Copics.I layered him on top of my Magnolia background stamp "Silent Night". The papers are the back side of Basic Grey's "Eskimo Kisses - Finial" and some Bo Bunny scraps. The lace, pearls and glitter are from my stash. Looking at it now I wonder if the lace ribbon should be wider - opinions please. The glitter has no come out terribly well on the photograph but believe me it is there. The snowflakes were made using a Martha Stewart punch.
I hope you might have an extra minute to leave a comment to let me know what you think of this card. I love to read your views.
Thank you for calling in and taking time to visit. Enjoy your day and stay safe and healthy.

Papertake Weekly #47
Hi girls. It's great to have you here today visiting my little blog. I hope you enjoy your time here and find something pleasing to the eye and if I've really done well you may even find a bit of inspiration. I would love to think that my cards encourage others to exploit their crafting mojo.
Weather was a bit mixed yesterday but I suppose at this time of year we can't really complain.
I made this card with the latest challenge from Papertake Weekly in mind. They gave us a marvellous sketch to use as a basis and I hope I have done it justice. I inked up Lili of the Valley's "New Hat" and coloured her with a mixture of Copics and Polychromas pencils. The sparkly paper is GCD Studios Designer Paper - "Homespun Garden". I have also used Stampin Up's "Rose Red" and an unnamed turquoise paper. I used Bazzil Bling as a mount. The flowers are by Magnolia and the roses are "My Moments". The ribbon, stickles and glimmer dust are from my stash.
I really hope you like this card enough to leave a comment for me. I love to read what you have to say and I really like to know who has been visiting me so that I can ensure that I am not missing out on visiting anyone's blog.
Finally, I just want to make a mention of a new challenge blog started by my blogging buddy Arina from the Netherlands. It's specifically a challenge aimed at producing cards for men. "What!" I hear you say. Yes I know we all find cards for men difficult to come up with so maybe it will prove just the thing to force us to overcome our reluctance. Why not pop over to http://www.menscardsworld.blogspot.com/ and see what is required.
Enjoy the start of your week and stay safe and healthy.

Sunday Sketch & Stamp #36 & Sentimental Sundays #19
Hi girls. I stand chastised. Some of you had spotted that I hadn't been quite as chatty in my posts for the last couple of days and asked if everything was OK. Well I have been feeling less than my best but I had hoped I had been less obvious. I am tired but I have little to complain about compaired to many of you out there. So on with the cheerie, chatty face.
I am genuinely pleased to have you visiting and appreciate your time. I hope the effort is rewarded with something that will bring you a smile and maybe even give your mojo a bit of a boost.
I made this card to enter two challenges. Sunday Sketch and Stamp gave a wonderful sketch to follow and Sentimental Sundays had a recipe of 1 Solid Paper, 2 Patterened papers, 3 Embellishments and 1 Sentiment. The papers are from Crafts House' "Sweet Dreams" and Papermania's "Capsule Collection". The 3 embellishments are Ribbo, a bow and Wild Orchid flowers. I inked up Sarah Kay's "Time for Apple Pie" and coloured this little charmer with a mix of Copics and Promarkers. Everything is from my stash.
I hope you like this card because I enjoyed making it. It would be much appreciated if you had a minute to leave a comment to let me know what you think of it and to let me know you've been here. I get so many visits to my blog in a day but far fewer comments. I would love to know who you are so that I can make sure I visit you in return. Thank you for your time and I hope you have a great weekend but above all that you stay safe and healthy.

I made this card following the sketch given by the Sketch Saturday challenge. I inked up Magnolia's "Tilda with Flowing Hair" and coloured her with my trusty Copics. The papers are from Rayher Hobby and Graphic 45's "Baby and Bride" collection. I used plain cardstock as a mount. The embellishments are all from my stash.
I hope you will feel free to leave a comment letting me know what you think of this. I love to know your opinions.
I hope you have a great day and stay safe and healthy.

Winter Wonderland & Just Magnolia Wk71 & Stamp Something
Hi girls. Thanks for calling in to see my blog. I hope you like what you find here. I promise a shorter post today.
I made this card to enter into three challenges. Winter Wonderland gave a recipe of 4 Papers, 3 Snowflakes and 1 Snowman. Just Magnolia gave a choice of "Cracked Glass" or "Anything goes" and I am afraid I bottled it and went for the latter. Stamp Something wanted "Something Cute". I inked up Magnolia's "Frosty the Snowman" and coloured him up with Copics. The papers are really scrap pieces I used up, 3 are from My Mind's Eye and the other is from an unnamed paper pack. The embellishments are from my stash and I used oodles of bling to add a bit of sparkle.
I do hope you like this card and that you might have a spare minute to leave me a comment. Your views me a lot to me. I treasure each and every one.
Have a great day and stay safe and healthy.

Hi Girls this is a long post warning - this one could take forever. Thanks for dropping in on me to see what is on offer today. I appreciate your time and interest.
The weather yesterday was horrendous - very strong winds and heavy rain - no more sitting out in the sun. Anyway I better get on with this post.
I made this card to enter it into three challenges. Lili of the Valley provided a wonderful sketch, Charisma Cardz wanted something inspired by a song (I chose "White Christmas") and CRAFT asked for something to do with "Man's Best Friend". I inked up LOTV's "Dropping the Shopping" and coloured it using my Copics Ciaos. I used two papers from My Mind's Eye's "I Believe" double sided series - "Berries" and "Trees". I also used Bazzil to mount. The embellishments were made using a Nestabilities Poinsettia set, a Snowflake set and two smaller Snowflake punches. Ribbons and pearls are from my stash. The sentiment was cut out using the 2nd smallest die from the Neastabilities No 4 Label set.
I hope you like this card enough to spend a little extra time to laeve a comment. You have no idea how much your comments mean to me. I value each and every one of them.
An Award from Belgium
I received this fantastic award from Martina at Martinas Kaartjes in Antwerp. She produces some beautiful creations and it would be well worth your time dropping over. Thank you so much Martina. the rules for this award are that I have to pass it on to 10 people so I have decided after a lot of thought to pass it on to the following blogging buddies. I have checked to try to ensure that none of them have it already.

Truly Scrumptious #40 & Creative Inspirations #76 & ABC Challenge
Hi girls. Nice to have you calling in to visit my blog. I hope you find your time here well spent and that you find something to bring a smile or even give a bit of inspiration. I appreciate you taking the time to call in.
Well it was a slightly better day health wise yesterday but the weather was dull and overcast so I was never outside. Nothing for it but to spend some time in the craftroom stroking my stash.
I did manage to produce this card that I intend to enter into three challenges. Truly Scrumptious had a fantastic sketch to follow with the added theme "Get Knotted" (I hope the knot in the ribbon qualifies), Creative Inspirations had the colour combo of "Pastel Green, Pink and Cream" and ABC this week was "C is for Charms".
The image I used is a freebie of "A Christmas Fairy" from a magazine coloured using my Copics. The papers are one from My Mind's Eye -Polka Dot Orange (a double sided paper), another two from the My Mind's Eye Quite Contrary Summer Papers Pad and of course Bazzil as a mount. I made the charm myself from some jewelry odds and ends and the other embellishments are from my stash.
I hope you like this card and have a spare minute to leave a comment to let me know what you think. I value your views and love reading what you have to say. So thanks once again for stopping by. Have a great day and stay safe and healthy. Enjoy your crafting and blog hopping.

A Spoonfull of Sugar #119
Hi girls. Nice to have you visiting my blog. I hope you are well and that you find something here to bring a smile or maybe even inspire your own crafting efforts.
I didn't have a great day yesterday healthwise but managed to finish off this card for the latest A Spoon Full of Sugar challenge. They gave us a fantastic sketch to follow and I enjoyed making this card. I inked up Lili of the Valley's "Xmas Ted - Presents for Two" and coloured this wee chap using my Copic Ciaos. The design papers are from the KARS Christmas Collection Speciality pad and I used Bazzil as a mount. I cut the snowflakes using an EK Success punch and everything else is from my stash. I cut the sentiment out using a Nestability.
I hope you like this card and that you can find a minute to leave a comment for me. I get so much from what you all have to say and love reading your tips and views.
Thank you for calling in and as we embark on another week stay safe and healthy.

Mojo Monday #154 & Wild Orchid #4
Hi girls. Another not too bad day here on the weather front. Hope you are enjoying a sunny weekend. It's great that you have found some time to visit my blog. I hope you find something here to make it worthwhile.
I made this card for Mojo Monday following their sketch and Wild Orchid who had the theme "Make it Sparkle". I inked up Magnolia's "Fairytale - Longing Tilda" and coloured her using my Copics. All the papers were given to me by my friend Alison who does not have a blog yet, but I am working on this! We swap papers or cut them down the middle so we each have a piece. I usually forget to write down the names of the maker. I used Bazzil card to mount. I used a new Martha Stewart corner and border punch set round the paper - I've not quite mastered this yet. They were given to me by my dear son and daughter-in-law (Lil-paper-pixie). They heard me saying I thought it was lovely when they were up on holiday. I forgot that if you say you like something the next moment you've got it. The flowers are from Wild Orchid and Magnolia, and stickled and glittered them. The ribbon and pink beads are from my stash.
I hope you like this card enough to take the extra time to leave a comment for me. I love reading what you have to say.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend and above all stay safe and healthy.

Cutie Sunday #107 & The Crafty Pad #86 & Totally Tilda #4 & Simon Says
Hi girls, I'm glad you have had the time to call in to my blog today. I hope you enjoy your visit. I don't know if there was a general Blogger problem yesterday but I had difficulty leaving comments and received very few alerts that new cards had been posted. Maybe it was just a slow day but it was very frustrating.
It was another warm sunny day and I did sit out for a while. Long may it continue.
Todays card was made to fit in with four challenges. Cutie Sunday gave us a fabulous sketch to follow, The Crafty Pad theme was "Simply Pearls", Totally Tilda wanted "Lilac and Lace" and Simon Says had a "Pearls and Lace" theme. I inked up Magnolia's "Tilda Carrying a Lamb". The papers are Making Memories' "Pitter Patter Sophie" and Magnolia Ink's "A Little Yummy for my Tummy". I coloured the image with a mix of my Copics and Polychromos Pencils. I have used Wild Orchid flowers and everything else is from my stash.
I hope you like this card and Blogger permitting you might even be able to leave me a comment telling me what you think. I love reading what you have to say.
Have a great weekend and stay safe and healthy.

Sentimantal Sunday #18 & Crafty Emma's Store #1
Hi girls. Glad you could make it over to my blog today. I hope you find something interesting or even inspirational. We had great weather yesterday - I even managed to sit out for a couple of hours in the garden in the sun. Long may this Indian summer continue.
I made this card with two challenges in mind. Sentimental Sundays wanted something "Clean and Simple with a Sentiment" and Crafty Emmas Store had the theme "Anything Goes". I chose papers from Stampin Up's Geometric papers and used plain blue cardstock a s a mount. I thought this gave a very clean and simple look. I inked up Whiff of Joy's "Sick Henry" and coloured him using my Copic Ciaos. I indulged slightly in that I cut out Henry's blanket and coloured it before I paper pieced it in place. I'm quite pleased with the result because when you look at the photograph you can hardly see that that is how it was done. The modest embellishments are from my stash.
I do hope you like this card. I would love to hear your views if you have time to leave a comment. Anything you have to say will be appreciated.
Have a good day and stay safe and healthy.

Just Magnolia #70 & Winter Wonderland
Hi girls, thank you for calling in to my blog. How are things with you? - Well I hope. I see from my blog hopping that one or two of you are under the weather. Not for long I hope.
Back to the grey skies here yesterday but at least I didn't have a conscience about being in my craftroom.
I made this card for two challenges. Just Magnolia provided a great sketch and Winter Wonderland had the theme of "All I want for Christmas". I inked up Magnolia's "Christmas Eve Tilda" and coloured her using my Polychromos Pencils. The papers are Mt Mind's Eye "Colourful Christmas". The poinsettias are cut using a Marianne's Designs folder I borrowed from my crafting buddy Kathleen from The Daisy Chain. The ribbon and glitter are from my stash.
I hope you like this card. If you have a spare moment to leave a comment I would love to read what you have to say and if you've never left a comment before I would love to know you had visited so that I could return the compliment.
I hope you have a great day, enjoy your crafting and manage to stay safe and healthy.

Sugar Bowl #42
Hi girls. Thank you for calling in to my blog. I hope that you will find a little inspiration here. If this weather keeps up I'll begin to think summer has arrived. We have had sunshine for the last few days. I hope you've been enjoying it as well. I had a visit yesterday from my crafting buddy Kathleen from The Daisy Chain and we had a great couple of hours together playing in my craftroom.
I made this card for the latest Sugar Bowl challenge where Lillian gave us a wonderful sketch to follow. I thought it was time to give an outing to Sugar Nellie's "Little Artist" again and coloured this cute wee chap using a mixture of Copics and Promarkers. The papers are Stampin Up's Teatime - I used both sides. The embellishments are from my stash but I kept them to a minimum since this is a boy's card.
I hope you like this offering enough to leave me a comment. I love to read what you think of my creations, your opinions matter to me.
I look forward to getting round your blogs and finding out what goodies you have created. Enjoy your crafting and stay safe and healthy.
