Hi girls, the start of another week already - time is just flying in. It's good of you to call in here. Hope fully your effort will not be unrewarded. Tha family are here and things are chaos. Two extra adults, 2 extra teenagers and 3 extra dogs. Oh the fun in our house.I made this card with three challenges in mind. Papertake Weekly gave us a fabulous sketch, Creative Card Crew wanted "Sparkle and Shine" and A Spoonfull of Sugar asked for "Christmas in August". The image is Lili of the Valley's "Skating Along" coloured with my trusty Copics. The wee dog looked a bit like our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel so I coloured it accordingly. I used a pearlised paper that I put through my Sizzix in a Cuttlebug Snowflake folder and used plain card as a mount. The corners are punched with a Martha Stewart punch.
The embellishments are cut using a Sissix poinsettia die and the pearls, ribbon and sentiment are all from my stash.

hi Fiona . wow i love this. The punched corners on that embossed background are fabulous and the poinsetta flowers are gorgeous. Love all the sparkle..you could enter it ove rat moving alobg with the ties too as our theme is all that glitters too

ReplyDeleteAll is quiet here just now because my baby grandson and toddler granddaughter are asleep. My daughter and the kids arrived late afternoon and my other daughter was just behind them. I only have one extra dog but that makes 2 very big Labradors lol!!
