Hi again girls. back to the normal weekly routine after the holiday weekend. I hope you all had a great time and are fit and raring to go. I am glad you have time to pop in here and I hope you enjoy your visit.
The card above was made with four challenges in mind. Cute Card Thursday had the theme "Dying for a Punch" where we were not allowed to use Nesties or punches or dies but were urged to go back to basic principles to cut our shapes. I used compasses and cut the circles and used pinking shears to edge the red square. Teri at Delicious Doodles is running a special Birthday Challenge using any of her digi images, Crafty Emma's Store where the theme for her very first challenge was "Anything goes" and Lisa at Mess2Magic has a special challenge to celebrate getting to 150 Followers with a theme of "Ladybugs" so I hope the red and black combo qualifies. I chose "Poppies" by Teri and coloured them with my Polychromos Pencils. I used a thick black velvet ribbon to make a double bow as an embellishment but it hasn't come out too clearly on the photograph unfortunately. It looks so much better in real life.
I hope you like this card and have the time and inclination to leave me a comment to let me know what you think of it. I love reading them.
Thank you for spending time here and I hope you day goes well. Stay safe and healthy.

Papertake Weekly & Creative Card Crew & Crafty Creations #82 & Winter Wonderland
Hi girls.I can hardly believe that it the August Bank Holiday already. The time have flown in this year. I am so pleased that you could spare a minute to pop in to see what is on offer on my blog today. I hope you are not disappointed.
My eldest son and family went home yesterday and everything is so quiet. We had a great time and I got a lot of crafting done with Sarah (Lil-paper-pixie). I think my stash survived.
This card was made to enter four challenges. Papertake Weekly gave a recipe with a 3-2-1 theme, Creative Card Crew wanted our cards to "Sparkle and Shine", Crafty Creations wanted 3 Papers, 2 Ribbons and 1 Charm which fits neatly with the first challenge and Winter Wonderland where the theme is "All I want for Christmas".
I inked up Lili of the Valley's "James Bear - Pile of Presents" and coloured him using my Copic Ciaos. I used a Dovecraft Blizzard paper and an unknown paper and created the third by running a pale blue one through my Sizzix Bigshot in a Cuttlebug Snowflake folder. The ribbons and charm are from my srash. I cut snowflakes with a punch from a sparkly card and put sparkle on the fur troms on James' hat.
I hope you like this card and might be able to find time to leave me a comment. I love reading what you have to say. I get so much help and inspiration from you all.
Please enjoy what is left of your holiday weekend and stay safe and healthy.

Sunday Sketch & Stamp #35
Hi girls. thanks for calling in to see me. I hope you like today's offering. I must apologise that I was a bad blogger yesterday. We had a family day out in Perth before my son and his family go back home to Solihull so I never got any commenting done. I will catch up with you all over the weekend - promise!!
This card was made for the Sunday Sketch and Stamp challenge. It is based on the fantastic sketch that Emma gave us to follow. The image is Lili of the Valley's "New Hat" and she is coloured with my Copics and Polychromos Pencils. The paper is Stampin Up's "Teatime". I have used Wild Orchid flowers and crsystals and the rest of the embellishments are from my stash.
If you have the time to leave a comment I would love to hear what you think of this card. Your views are always welcome and are much valued.
Enjoy your weekend, have a great time crafting if you get the chance and stay safe and healthy.

Penny Black #115 & DT Call
Hi girls. It's Friday already - just where does the time go. This week has flashed by. I think having the family here has made this week a whirl. I hope that your visit here will be rewarding and that you will find something to please the eye.
I made this card for the Penny Black challenge, where we were given a fantastic sketch as a basis to work to. I have inked up Penny Black's "Hand Mailed" and coloured it using my Copic Ciaos. The papers are DCWV Inc, "The Christmas Multi Stack" and some plain red card I have used as a mount. The ribbon is from Stampin Up and the snowflakes were punched with a Martha Stewart punch. The flowers, pearls and red sakura glaze are all from my stash.
I hope you like this card enough to leave me a comment. Your views are important to me and I love reading what you have to say.
Now I just want you to be aware that my dear friend Teri at Teri's Cards and Toppers has decided that it's time to set up a Design Team to showcase her fantastic digi images at Delicious Doodles. If you are interested why not click on the link and pop over to get the details.
Have a great day and I hope that as you approach the weekend you have great things planned.

Friday Sketchers #116 & Stampin for the Weekend #45
Hi girls, great to have you visit my blog. I hope you like what you find. I have been struggling to find time for my blog hopping and comment leaving this week with the family here. I think I have just about caught up. If I have inadvertently missed you I will be there soon.
I made this card for two challenges. Friday Sketchers provided the fantastic sketch and Stampin for the Weekend had the theme of "Anything goes". I have inked up Magnolia's "Tilda with Bicycle" and coloured her using my Copics. I have done her in green shades because I very rarely do green and I fancied a change. The papers are Lush Floral paper and the reverse sides of two more My Mind's Eye papers. I used two shades of green Bazzil Bling as mounts to give a bit of definition. The embellishments are cut from textured cream card using a Marianne Design Creatable. The corners are cut using a Woodware Craft punch. Everything else is from my stash. I hope you like this card and have time to leave me a comment telling me what you think. I love to read your views - I find them so helpful.
Enjoy your day and stay safe and healthy.

Cute Card Thursday # 126 & CRAFT #64 & Charisma Cardz & MAWTT #60
Hi girls, It's great to have you here on my blog. I must apologise that I was a poor blogger yesterday but with the family up on holiday I did not get a chance to do any comments. I will try to do better today.
Before I forget I received the "Cherry on Top" Award again today from Lisa over at Mess2Magic. Thank you so much Lisa, I appreciate your kind thought.
I made this card to enter 4 challenges. I used Cute Card Thursday's sketch and got the colours from C.R.A.F.T.'s photo inspiration. Charisma Cardz wanted die cuts and Moving along with the Times wanted glitter - I don't think the glitter shows terribly well in the photograph. The image is Sugar Nellie's "Windswept" coloured with my Copics. The gorgeous papers are all unknown because I was given them by my crafting buddy Alison. I cut the corners using a Cuttlebug die and the embellishments are all from my stash.
I enjoyed making this card and I hope you like it. Perhaps you can find an extra minute to leave a comment to let me know what you think. I really value your opinions.
Thanks for calling in and I hope you have a successful day. Have a great time and stay safe and healthy.

Creative Inspirations #74 & Crafty Creations #81
Hi girls, Tuesday again, and getting into the week again. I'm so glad you have taken time to call in and I hope you like what you see here.
I made this card for two challenges. Creative Inspirations who gave us a wonderful sketch to follow and Crafty Creations who wanted "Butterflies" . The image is Magnolia's "Fairytale - Elf Tilda" coloured using my Copics and Polychromos Pencils. The papers are My Mind's Eye's "Pretty Please", one that was free with a magazine and Bazzil Bling as a mount. The butterflies (difficuly to see on the photograph because the are quite sheer) are cut with a Martha Stewart punch. The flowers are handmade and the ribbon and glitter are from my stash.
I hope you like this card and look forward to reading your opinions on it if you are kind enough to leave a comment.

Papertake Weekly #46 & Creative Card Crew & A Spoonfull of Sugar #117
Hi girls, the start of another week already - time is just flying in. It's good of you to call in here. Hope fully your effort will not be unrewarded. Tha family are here and things are chaos. Two extra adults, 2 extra teenagers and 3 extra dogs. Oh the fun in our house.
I made this card with three challenges in mind. Papertake Weekly gave us a fabulous sketch, Creative Card Crew wanted "Sparkle and Shine" and A Spoonfull of Sugar asked for "Christmas in August". The image is Lili of the Valley's "Skating Along" coloured with my trusty Copics. The wee dog looked a bit like our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel so I coloured it accordingly. I used a pearlised paper that I put through my Sizzix in a Cuttlebug Snowflake folder and used plain card as a mount. The corners are punched with a Martha Stewart punch.

Mojo Monday #152 & An Award
Hi girls, I hope your weekend is going well and that you are having a great time with friends and family. It's good of you to take time to call in to my blog and I hope you find it to be time well spent.
This card was made following the sketch given in the latest Mojo Monday challenge. The image is a Lili of the Valley image called "Teddy with Letter" which I have coloured using a mix of my Copics and Polychromos Pencils. The papers are all unnamed and I have used some Bazzil Bling as a backing card. The embellishments are all from my stash including the Wild Orchid flowers.
I enjoyed making this card and I hope you like it. Perhaps you can even find a little extra time to leave a comment letting me know your opinion. I always value anything you have to say.
I have been given this Blog Award from Judi over at Judi's Craft Corner. It's beautiful. Thank you so much Judi I am really flattered that you would think of me. I now have to pass it on to seven people whose blogs I love to visit. That's tough because limiting myself to seven from all the blogs I love is almost impossible. I have chosen to pass it on to the following lovely ladies.

Tracy at Country Mouse
Lisa at Mess2Magic
Lynn at Crafty Linby
Jane at Jem's Crafting Blog
and
Juls at The Glitter Chick

Thank you so much for calling in and above all stay safe and healthy.

Fussy & Fancy Friday #17
Hi girls, Thanks for dropping in. I hope all is well with you and that you are having a good day. I went to hospital yesterday and although the consultant was pleased with me he said I was to stay on the oxygen machine for the next six months at least, albeit on a slightly reduced rate of oxygen. I have also been given an overnight monitor to put on to see what happens to my blood oxygen while I'm sleeping (let's hope I sleep better than I have been recently).
We are getting toward the end of the week already and it's time to post a card for a Friday challenge. I intend to enter this one into Fussy & Fancy Friday since I based it on the fabulous sketch they gave us. It's the first time I have entered this challenge and I love the detail they put in the sketch.
I have inked up Magnolia's "Midsummer Tilda Dancing" and coloured her using my Copics and Polychromos Pencils. The papers are from Papermania's Capsule Collection. I used Marianne Design and Creatables to make the swirls and the panel on which to stamp Tilda. The flowers are from my stash. I trust that you will like this card enough to let me know what you think of it. Your opinions are valued and I always look forward to reading what you say.
Remember that today is day 5 of Teri's digi giveaway over at Delicious Doodles. So nip over and see what is on offer today by clicking on the advert in my sidebar and get the details of Teri's competition to win 10 of her fantastic digi images. Her artwork is amazing.
Have a great day and enjoy any crafting you get time to do. Stay safe and healthy.

MAWTT # 59 & Cute Card Thursday #125 & LOTV #60
Hi girls, great to see you back on my blog again. If however it's your first visit - I glad you popped in. I hope you had a good day yesterday. I had a great day because my friend Kathleen of The Daisy Chain) came round in the afternoon and we had a couple of hourscrafting together. It's great to have someone to craft with.

Moving Along With the Times (MAWTT) who gave a fantastic sketch to follow, Cute Card Thursday had the theme "Tree-mendous" and Lili of the Valley where the theme was "4 Seasons" and you were asked to make a crad representing one season - I chose Summer. The image is LOTV's "" and coloured it using a mixture of Copic Ciaos and Polychromos Pencils. The papers are one by Magnolia, Basic Grey's Capella - Forte and one unknown. I also used brown card as a mount. I also used the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder on one panel. There are no other embellies because I don't think he would want anything too fancy. I hope you like this card and would love it if you could find the time to let me know what you think of it.
Just a quick reminder that Teri over at Delicious Doodles in on the 4th day of here freebie giveaway. She is also running a competition to win 10 Digi images of your choice from her site so why not click on the advert in my sidebar and pop in to see what is on offer.

Crafty Creations #80 & Simon Says & Rosie-D's #77
Hi girls. Welcome to my blog where I hope you find something that brings a smile. I am so pleased you had time to call in to see me. Yesterdays weather back to being overcast but at least it was dry. I hope it picks up for the weekend because my eldest son and family are coming up from Solihull for a week.
I made this card to enter three challenges. Crafty Creations wanted "Winged Things", Simon Says ... There ain't no cure for the Summertime Blues where we had to use some blue (I hope there is enough blue in this one), and Rosie-D's who wanted "More than onew fold". The image is a Dragonfly by Creative Expressions painted with Twinkling H2Os. The paper is from Papermania's Capsule Collection and some Bazzil Bling as a mount.Very few embellishments - just some ribbon. A card without flowers - now there's a novelty from me.
The second photograph shows the card partially open just to give the effect and show the sentiment. I hope you like this card because I enjoyed making it. Perhaps you can find an extra minute to leave a comment to give me your opinion. I love reading what you have to say about my creations. Your views are always appreciated.
Just to remind you that this is the third day of Teri's week long frebbie giveaway over at Delicious Doodles. Click on the picture in my sidebar to pop across to see what is available today.
I hope all is well with you and that your week is going well. Take care and feel free to visit again.

A Spoonfull of Sugar #116
Hi girls. Thanks for calling in to my blog. Hopefully you will find something you like. I appreciate your visit. Well after all my moaning recently yesterday produced some of the best weather that we have had all summer. Glorious sunshine and not too much wind. So moaning is over (at least till it rains). I got out into the garden to sit - or as far into the garden my oxygen tube would let me go and thouroughly enjoyed it. I hope you had a good day as well. I know some of you had big plans for the weekend so I hope the weather was kind to you.
I made this card for the current challenge over at A Spoonfull of Sugar following the sketch they gave. I have used one of my Lili of the Valley stamps called "On the Garden Wall" and coloured it using a mixture of Copics and Poly chromos Pencils. The more eagle eyed of you will notice that I have added a flower to her hat - I thought it needed it. The papers are From Paper Mania's Capsule Collection plus one that was a freebie in a magazine. The embellies are all from my stash, the flowers being from Wild Orchid.
If you have time it would be much appreciated if you could leave a comment to tell me what you think of this card. I love reading what you have to say.
Finally, a reminder that my friend Teri over at Delicious Doodles is on the second day of her week giving away a freebie each day. Why not pop over by clicking on the advert in my sidebar to see what is available today and while you're there have a look at her fantastic artwork.
I hope that as your week starts everything goes the way you planned and that you stay safe and healthy.

Everything else is from my stash.

Basic Grey & Create 4 Fun #32 & By The Cute & Girly
Hi girls, welcome to my corner of cyberspace where I hope you fing something that will lift your spirits and provide a little inspirations. If you get half as much pleasure from visiting my blog as I do visiting the blogs I follow I will be satisfied.
I know I have been prattling on about the weather for a while but yesterday took the biscuit. It alternated between pavement splitting sunshine and torrential rain all day. So off to the craftroom it had to be.
I made this card for three challenges. Basic Grey wanted "Pearls", Create 4 Fun gave us a wonderful sketch to follow and By The Cute & Girly. I inked up Sugar Nellie's "Daisy", one of my all time favourites and coloured her with my Copic Ciaos. I used Basic Grey's "Green at Heart" and "Wisteria" with plain card as a mount. Everything else is from my stash.
It would be much appreciated if you had time to leave a comment letting me know what you tink of this card. I so enjoy reading them and they are generally encouraging and helpful. Thank you for visiting. I hope you have a fulfilling crafting day but above all stay safe and healthy.

Winter Wonderland Challenge
Hi girls. Great to have you here on by blog. Thanks for taking the time to call. I hope you enjoy my creations and find a bit of inspiration here. The weather is still confused about what it's supposed to be doing so there's nothing for it but to stay indoors and carft.
This is a slightly longer post today because I have gone overboard with the piccies The card was made to enter the current Winter Wonderland challenge which asks for an Easel card with Sparkle and Shine.
I used Lili of the Valley's "" and coloured it using my Copic Ciaos. The papers are from The Dovecraft 8x8 Designer Pad. The large snowflakes were cut from sparkly paper using a Martha Stewart punch. The photographs don't show the glitter very well but it is there. The photo above shows the front face of the card in close up and the one below shows the base.

LOTV #59 & Charisma Cardz #32
Hi girls, it's great to have you calling into my wee corner of the web. I enjoy knowing that you have been here and I hope you like what you find here.
I am ready to give up with this weather - it just can't make it's mind up what it wants to be. Still we don't need the sun to craft indoors so mustn't complain too much.
Now I am taking a risk posting this card. It's for my grandson Jonathan's birthday which is not till tomorrow. I don't think he'll see this early and the photograph doesn't show the surprise inside anyway so all should be well.
I am entering it into two challenges. Firstly Lili of the Valley who provided the wonderful sketch I followed and Charisma Cardz who wanted "Teddy Bears". The images LOTV's "" and is coloured using my Copic Ciaos. The papers were all freebies in the Making Cards magazine. I haven't gone for any fancy embellishments - I didn't think Jonathan would appreciate my fancy flowers Lol.
I hope you like it and that you might have a spare minute to leave me a comment. I appreciate so much knowing who has been here and what you think of my creation. I value your opinions and love reading what you think.
Enjoy your day, stay safe and keep crafting.

1 Card, 4 Challenges
Hi girls. By now the weekend seems so far away. I hope you had a great time and have settled into the weekly routine. What happened to the sunshine and dry weather - gone, gone, gone. Oh well I have your visit to cheer me up.
I made this card to enter into 4 challenges (I think that's a record for me). Truly Scrumptious had the theme "Golden Oldie" where we were to use one of our older stamps, Crafty Creations wanted something with a "Wedding or Anniversary" theme, Creative Inspirations gave us a recipe to use 5 flowers, 3 papers and 1 ribbon and finally Simon Says... had the theme "Sing it Baby" where we had to build in a song. The first three are easily satisfied with this card and I hope that it suits the last challenge by evoking the sentiments of two songs, both called "The Wedding Song", one by Bob Dylan, the other by Julie Rogers.
The image is Lili of the Valley's "Wedding Carriage" coloured using my Copic Ciaos. I got this stamp when it first came out and have loved it ever since. The three papers are both sides of an unknown double sided paper and a pearlised cream paper I have embossed using a Cuttlebug "Divine Swirl" folder to give texture. I also used peach card as a mount. The flowers are from Wild Orchid.
I enjoyed making this card so I hope you like it. It would be much appreciated if you could find a minute to leave me a comment to let me know what you think of it. I value what you have to say.
Thanks for calling in. Have a great day and stay safe and healthy.

Creative Card Crew & Papertake Weekly
Hi girls. Great to have you popping in to my wee blog. I hesitate to say this but we actually had enough sun today for me to sit outside for a couple of hours. Is it possible we are going to get some decent weather for a spell? - time will tell.
I did manage to get a card made though. Truth to tell I didn't sleep well overnight Saturday to Sunday and got up early and managed to get this done. I intend to enter it into two challenges. Creative Card Crew want something "Cute and Girly" and Papertake Weekly are asking for "White and Bright". The image is Lili of the Valley's "Hello Gorgeous" and is coloured with a mixture of Copics and Polychromos Pencils. The papers are all freebies from magazines and the flowers are from Wild Orchid. I used a Martha Stewart double edged doily punch for the border across the centre of the card although not much of it is not seen.
I do hope you like this enough to take the extra time to leave a comment. I love reading what you have to say and I value your opinions. Thank you so much for calling in. I hope that you have an enjoyable and productive day and above all stay safe.

Mojo Monday #150
Hi there girls. Thanks for popping round to my blog. I hope you find something to please the eye and give just a little inspiration. I know I get a lot from the blogs I visit. Believe it or not after a dull start Saturday was quite a bright day - was that summer I wonder?
I made this card to enter it into the Mojo Monday challenge. They gave a fantastic sketch to follow this week and I couldn't resist having a go. I have inked up Lili of the Valley's "Born to Shop" and coloured it using my Copic Ciaos. The papers are "Lemonade - Flower Garden" by Basic Grey, Papermania's "Capsule Collection" and some unknown papers I probably got in a magazine. The flowers are handmade - I experimented with a different method this time. Everything else is from my stash.
I hope you like this card enough to leave me a comment letting me know what you think. I really enjoy reading what you have to say.
I appreciate you taking the time to call in and I hope you enjoy the rest of the weekend. I hope the weather is kind to you and that you get the opportunity to do a bit of crafting.
