Cute Card Thursday #97 - Bloomin Gorgeous

Hello girls. When will this weather change? It's been snowing again and although not much of it remains it is really cold and things are freezing over. Still I have your visits and comments to keep me warm. It's great to have you here. I can only hope that you find something that you will find pleasing.
Today's card was made for the Cute Card Thursday challenge where the theme was "Bloomin Gorgeous". They wanted something with plenty of flowers about it - hope this fits the bill.
The paper is a flowery one from the Laura Ashley 6x6 Designer Velvet Paper Pack. The flowers are homemade based loosely on Monique's tutorial in the first Magnolia Ink magazine. The ribbons and other embellishments are from my stash. I also used a Martha Stewart doily border punch. The image is "Little Girl's Swing Time" by Lili of the Valley and is coloured with my Polychromos Pencils. The card the image is stamped on to has its edges embossed with Silver Detailed Embossing Powder.
I hope you will have a minute to leave me a comment letting me know what you think of this card. It's great to know what you think.
By the way it's still not too late to join in the short circular Blog Hop being run to introduce the new range of stamps to be found on the Crafty Sentiments Shop. Go to the top of my blog for the detail - you can start from my blog.
Thanks again for your visit and I hope you have a good day.
Hugs,

  16. Aorry I have not been around sooner, had a few problems to sort out but hopefully will be back to normal after the weekend. Another beauty from you again Fiona, I so love that image it is a real heart warmer. As we can't see much of the designer paper I love the way you used your colours in the ribbon, embossing and flowers to catch the eye. Beautiful.
