Hi girls and boys (there must be some boys out there). Glad you have found a minute to drop in on me today. How is the Christmas card making coming on. Well another week gone past and it's time for the new Cute Card Thursday Challenge where this week we have a

Sketch by Deb

Our sponsor this week is Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps so why not go over to the challenge blog get some inspiration from the Design Team's efforts and have a go yourself to be in with a chance of winning the goodies.
I have used the opportunity to make another Christmas Card and have inked up Lili of the Valley's "Carol Singing"  and coloured it using a mixture of Copics and Promarkers. The design papers were freebies in a magazine and I used Bazzil as mounts. I made the gold poinsettias using gold mirra card in an embossing Sizzlets  and the border was created with a Stampin Up border punch. The pleated ribbon and glitter are from my stash. The sentiment is from Stampin Up.
Well I hope you like this offering but as always I would love to hear your views so if you have a chance please leave a comment giving me your views. In any case, thanks for calling in and enjoy your crafting. Stay safe and healthy.

MAWTT #119 - Vintage

Hi girls. Welcome and thanks for calling in to my wee blog today. I hope all is going well for you and that you are having a great time visiting all your favourite blogs. I hope you like mine enough to come back again. Winter is definitely not far away here because the temperature is dropping and with the change in the clocks just days away I'm looking forward to dark nights in my craftroom.
Anyway on to today's card that I am entering into the latest Moving Along With the Times Challenge where the theme is "Vintage". I have chosen to go for a traditional vintage style Christmas card for this one and have inked up an old church scene from Stampin Up and combined it with a Stampin Up sentiment. They are both stamped in sepia ink and are stamped on to a vanilla card. I have created snowflakes using a combination os Martha Stewart and EK Success punches. The corner was cut using a Cuttlebug die and the gems, ribbon, glitter and lace are from my stash. I think this card is a bit understated for me but I loved making it.
I hope you like it and would love to read any comments you might have time to leave for me - I love reading your views.
Have a great day and enjoy your crafting. Above all stay safe and healthy.

The border punch is by Martha Stewart. The pearls, glitter and gems are from my stash and the Christmas Tree Charm is an unused stash item. I used Glossy Accents on Edwin's boots.

Papertake Weekly

Hi girls. Another week gone by and Christmas is beginning to loom on the horizon. Thanks for finding the time to call in on my blog. I hope you find your visit worthwhile.
I'm trying something a bit different today. When Sarah was up on holiday I borrowed this stamp from her and heat embossed the image with turquoise embossing powder. I am afraid I've lost the details of the stamp name and the maker but the theme is children paying in the garden. I really think this is a pretty image. The background and mounting card are bazzil linen. The flowers and crystals are from Wild Orchid. The ribbon is actually seam binding fom my stash and the leaves are punched out. I have stickled and glittered the flowers but as usual it doesn't show too well on the photograph.
I am entering this card into the Papertake Weekly Challenge where the theme is Anything Goes with the added option of something punched.
I hope you like this and as always any comments you might leave for me will be appreciated. As you start the new week I hope you have a great time at whatever you do and that you enjoy your crafting and blogging. Above all stay safe and healthy.

Well it's time again for my DT card for Cute Card Thursday where the challenge this week is

Time for Cake

so we want to see some yummy cake on your creations. The sponsor this week is The Stamp Shoppe so there will be a great prize for our winner. Why not pop over and see what the DT have produced and join in the fun.
I have inked up Lili of the Valley's "Hello Cupcake" and coloured this little beauty using Promarkers (a change for me). The papers are summer Breeze and some bazzil as a mount. The flowers are a mix of Magnolia and Wild Orchid and the butterfly is from Wild Orchid as well.

Two for the price of one

Hi girls. Thank you for dropping in on me today. I am very pleased to have you here - not that I deserve it because my blogging lately has been almost non existent. I really must get round you all again. I have so missed seeing your beautiful creations. Health has been a bit mixed lately but I'm not going to bore you with detail because there are so many far worse off than me.

I decided to have a go at a plain and simple style of card and came up with these two. The image on the first one is "Agapanthus" by Stampendous and the second one is "Allegro" by Penny Black. They are both stamped using Versafine sepia ink and glittered to lift the image. The sentiment is by Stampin Up (borrowed from my DIL Sarah). The paper on the top card is from a g.c.d. Studios pad called "No Worries". The script background on the bottom card is stamped with another stamp borrowed from Sarah - don't know it's name.
The ribbon is from my stash.

I hope you like these but I would love to hear you views.

have a great day and enjoy your crafting. Above all stay safe and healthy.
