I made this card for Cupcake Crafts Challenge where the theme was "A Time for Celebration". I decided to try a more mannish card for this one so no fancy flowers today. (I'm suffering withdrawal symptoms). The image is Magnolia's "Guitar Edwin" coloured using Copic Ciaos. The papers are all from GCD's "No Worries 48 sheet paper collection" and the embellishments are from my stash. This is a bit more basic than my normal offering but I hope you still like it. Perhaps you will have a minute to spare to leave me a comment to let me know what you think. I would love it if you did because I get so much from them.

Creative Inspirations #23 - Christmas Gift
Hi Girls. Hope you are all enjoying the festive season. I am really pleased that you have found the time to pop in to my little bit of cyberspace to see what is here for your delight (hopefully). I hope you enjoy your visit.
Nearly time for the bells ringing in the New Year and as usual my Hubby need wadges of paper to write down all his Resolutions for the incoming year (only to be totally ignored very soon after as usual.Lol). So the Creative Inspirations Challenge to make a "Christmas Gift - Anything but a card " gave the ideal opportunity to make a nice thick notepad to hold them all.

So the Creative Inspirations Challenge to make a "Christmas Gift - Anything but a card " gave the ideal opportunity to make a nice thick notepad to hold them all.
The pad is made by cutting three pieces of thick card and sandwiching them between two pieces of matching paper. This used up some scraps of a paper I have long lost the detail of. I mounted a piece of Silver Mirra card on top. This card has butterflies etched into it, although the photograph doesn't show them well, so I took another unknown paper with butterflies and cut them out and mounted four of them onto a piece of white card and stuck it on top of the mirra card. I then cut out another four butterflies and layered them on to the others and bent their wings to give a 3D effect and stuck small gems down their backs. Lastly I stuck a tassel
on the edge of the top to lift the top to get at the pad I stuck inside.

I quite enjoyed making this and I hope you like it enough to take a few minutes of your time to leave a comment. I really do appreciate them and love reading them all. Have a great crafting day and keep safe. Hope to see you back soon.

Crafty Creations #47 - No Rules
Hi Girls. Great to have you here visiting my wee blog. If you've been before it's great to have you back and if this is your first visit I do hope you find something to please the eye so that you will want to come back again.
I'm having a great time down in Solihull with my son and daughter-in-law (Lil-paper-pixie) and was at Hobby craft today and spent all my Christmas vouchers so I have lots of new goodies to play with. Wey Hey.
I have made this card for the Crafty Creations challenge where there are "No Rules" this week so we have a completely free hand to do what we want. The image is a digi image from Mo Manning called "Jordan Multitasking". I have coloured this little miss with my trusty Copic Ciaos. The backing paper dates back to before my blogging days and I haven't kept the details of what it was (long before I knew such information would be required) but the side bar has been cut with Santa's Martha Stewart Deep Border Punch from the reverse side of one of the "No Worries 48 sheet pack" from GCD Studios. The flowers are handmade and have been cut from the same paper. Everything else is from my stash.
I hope you like this and would love to hear your opinions so if you have time to leave a comment please feel free. I love reading them.
Do have a great crafting and blogging day.

Papertake Weekly ... Thank You
Hi girls. Well after easily getting away from home with our 12" of snow we crossed the border into England to be snarled up in a 15 mile tailback of traffic around Manchester where there was not a fleck of the white stuff to be seen and eventually arrived in Solihull absolutely goosed. Anyway we are here now so I'm looking forward to the rest of our week.
Thank you for popping in here to see my blog. I hope you find something to please.
I am entering this card into the Papertake Weekly challenge where the theme was "Thank You". The stamp is Magnolia's "Christmas Eve Tilda" coloured using my Copic Ciaos. The backing paper is Paper Adventures - Francour - Tropical Breezes blue stripe and the others are Bo Bunny's Sea Foam dot and Stampin Up - olive. The flowers are handmade from the papers and the other embellishments are from my stash.
I sincerely hope that you like this card and would love it if you were to leave me a comment. The time it would take would be much appreciated. I hope you have a great crafting day.

Mojo Monday #118
Hi girls. Glad to have you here for a quick visit to my corner of crafting blogland. Thank you for taking the time to pop in and I hope you find something to encourage your mojo juices.
Well this is the big day - hubby and I are setting off to head south to spend the rest of the holidays with my son John and his wife Sarah, aka Lil-paper-pixie. I'm really looking forward to it because Sarah and I will be crafting all day together no doubt. The journey should take us about 5 hours, weather permitting, so I won't be able to leave many comments today but will be back on Monday as normal.
I made this card for the latest Mojo Monday challenge and I decided to break with my usual practice and produced a card without an image in it. I'll let you be the final judges as to whether this works or not. I used Bazzil base card plus a lilac card from the Paper Mill, a striped paper which is unfortunately unnamed and a spotted paper from the Nancy Watt - "The Summertime Dream Collection". The ribbon is from my stash and the flowers are handmade from lilac card.
Now I decided to add a wee bit of glitter on the flowers for effect and clumsy me lost my grip on the glitter jar and the whole card got it. Lol. Oh well it certainly has some glitter. I would love it if you could spare the time to leave a comment to let me know if you think this works. I honestly value your opinions. I hope you will call back sometime but in the meantime enjoy your crafting time.

Crafts 4 Eternity - Recipe #12
Hello girls. Still recovering from the big day. Santa has been and brought some great crafting goodies Wey Hey. Santa left me a fantastic new Martha Stewart border punch and hubby gave me mega bucks worth of vouchers for the fantastic Stampaholics in Perth. My youngest son's two children gave me gift vouchers for Hobbycraft. I hope you were all pleased with your pressies and I look forward to seeing what you produce with the crafting goodies you received. I am really pleased you have found a minute to pop in and hope you consider your visit worthwhile.
I made this card for the Crafts 4 Eternity where the recipe was to follow the sketch provided and add a journal spot and use some net (I've used a very fine net ribbon, I hope it counts). I used Magnolia's "Tilda with Key" coloured with my Copic Ciaos. the paper and card are Bazzil pearlised, My Mind's Eye -Flirty "Play"
and the main paper is nameless. The flowers are handmade and the ribbon is from my stash.
I would love to hear your views on this one if you have time to leave one. Every comment will be like an extra Christmas present. Please enjoy the rest of your holiday and enjoy your crafting.

Allsorts Challenge #32
A MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL
I would like to wish everybody a great time with friends and family over the holiday period. I would also like to thank you all for the encouragement and helpful comments you have given me in the few months I have been blogging. The genuine friendship and interest has been a constant source of inspiration.
The current Allsorts Challenge asked for "Anything but a Card" so I put together this post-it pad holder, It was made by encasing three cut strips of thick card in a sandwich between two pieces of a backing paper - I'm sorry I have no idea what it is called, it was lying loose in the bottom of my drawer. I trimmed the edges with peel offs - I don't like peel offs but I felt that this was an acceptable place to use them. I cut flowers out of the paper and layered them as a decoupage on top as a decoration and used a two pieces of ribbon to act as ties. Fairly straightforward but I hope you feel the end result is appealing. You can, of course, let me know what you think by leaving me a comment to give me your views on it. I love reading your comments and if you have time to leave one it would be much appreciated.
Please enjoy the rest of your Christmas Holiday.

Friday Sketchers #83
"It's Christmas Eve and tomorrow will bring all kinds of wonderful things" so says the song and your visit today is an early present to me. I am overjoyed that you have found the time to visit and hope you feel rewarded with what you find here. I hope you find something to please the eye and perhaps even give you some inspiration. We've had a horrendous day with snow and the roads have been chaos around Kinross. Hope it all disappears after Christmas so we can travel down to our son and Sarah (Lil-paper-pixie) in Solihull on Sunday.
I made this card for Friday Sketchers based on the fantastic sketch they gave as a guide. I inked up Magnolia's "Tilda with Flowers" and colured her with my trusty Copic Ciaos. I cut round her outline and mounted her on Gold Mirra Card and again cut rounf the outline. The backing papers are all from Stampin Up 's Pumpkin Pie set. I made the flowers from Gold Mirra Card and "gems" from my stash. I am fairly pleased with this card and hope you like it as well. It would be great if you had time to leave a comment to let me know what you think of it. Any comments are much appreciated and reading them brings a lot of help and encouragement.
Thank you for calling in today and taking time out of your last minute Christmas preparations. I do hope you thouroughly enjoy any crafting you do today and please have a very Happy and Safe Christmas - I hope Santa is very good to you.

Cute Card Thursday #91
Hi girls. Thanks for calling in to my blog. I was in a bit of a quandry about whether I should stop posting cards over the holiday period but I have decided to try to find enough time each day to post. I have tried to build up a list of scheduled cards that I just need to add a top and tail to each day. We'll see how it works out. Anyway I'm glad your here. I hope you like what you see.
We have a generous covering of snow and we're forecast for as low as 17 below tonight so I don't think a thaw is on the cards so we might just have a White Christmas in this neck of the woods.

I made this card for the Cute Card Thursday challenge which asked for an "Aperture Card". Now I need help here because I don't have a clue what stamp this is or who made it. It is coloured using my Copic Ciaos. The handmade sunflowers are cut from yellow base card. and the other embellies are from my stash.
I hope you like this card and have time to leave me a comment letting me know what you think. I value your opinions and appreciate the fact that you take the trouble to leave one. I hope you have a constructive and enjoyable crafting day.

Simon Says .... Merry Christmas
Another day nearer Santa coming down the chimney (or flue pipe as the case may be). Wey Hey. It has snowed again today and we have about 5 inches lying in the back garden were it has not been disturbed. Hope it lasts till Friday. It's great that you have called in to my wee blog today. I really appreciate your time and hope that there is something here to bring joy to you.
I made and posted a card very similar to this a short time ago but when I saw this Simon Says ..... Merry Christmas I decided to make another card based on the same design. This time Magnolia's "Santa - Santa Delivering Presents", coloured with my Copic Ciaos, has been combined with Bo Bunny's "Tis the Season, Deck the Halls" and the reverse side of Bo Bunny's St Nick Holly Berry". The flowers are handmade from white card. I hope you like this card enough to let me know by leaving a comment. I love reading them and appreciate the time you take to leave them. Have a great time crafting.

Papertake Weekly #30
Well girls the snow is still here with us in Perthshire and it has a good grip. It has been snowing again today so we have a good thick covering. Very Christmassy. I'm beginning to get excited - the big day is only 4 more sleeps away.
I really fancied the sketch in this week's Papertake Weekly Challenge and this is my interepretation. I apologise that the light has been so bad here that I had to use flash to take the photograph and it's not up to normal standards but I hope it gives the idea. I used Rayher Hobby Gmbtt (blue/white) paper and Siver mirra card and stamped up Magnolia's "Tilda with Hearts" on Stampin Up Old Olive card. Tilda is coloured using my trusty Copic Ciaos. I used a Martha Stewart border Arch punch on green card to create a drape for the top of the image panel and tied a ribbon across the top of it. The flowers are handmade out off silver mirra card.
I would love to know what you think of this card and if you could spare some time to leave a comment I would be very grateful because I get so much enjoyment reading them. Do have a good run up to Christmas and enjoy your crafting.

Mojo Monday #117 & Cupcake Crafts #70
Hi all. Great to have you here. I hope you find your visit worthwhile and find something to bring a smile or even get some encouragement for the mojo juices.
I am scheduling this post for just after midnight but as I sit and type this I am looking out of our patio doors and the snow is falling. Some of the flakes must be 2 or 3 inches in size, I've never seen flakes this big before. It has covered all the dog prints left in the back garden after yesterdays snow and it looks beautiful.
However there is a card to describe. I made this one with two challenges in mind. Mojo Monday gave us a great sketch to follow and Cupcake Crafts asked for a 5"x5" birthday card. I inked up one of my favourite stamps, Magnolia's "Dreamy Tilda" and coloured her as usual with my Copic Ciaos. The main paper is from the "No Worries Collection" pack. I have used a strip of "Tutti Fruitti" paper from Crafts House ato put across the middle of the card and put a lace ribbon on top of it with a narrow blue ribbon over that before mounting the image. The handmade flowers are all made from petals punched from the papers I used.
I enjoyed making this card and I hope you like it. You can, if you have time, let me know what you think of it by leaving a comment. I do so love reading them. Thanks for dropping by. I hope all is well with you and that you enjoy your crafting.

Sunday Sketch & Stamp #17
Hi girls. We are in the final approach now to the big day. The cards are all away, the pressies are all bought and the Christmas dinner is all in from M&S. The snow is lying although we haven't had any more today (Friday - this post is scheduled for just after midnight) and the estate is very icy. More snow forecast for Saturday and the possibility of a white Christmas is definately there. I'm beginning to get into the spirit.
Thank you so much for calling in here. Hopefully your find something to your taste. I made this card for Sunday Sketch & Stamp challenge where they gave us a great sketch to base our card on. Firstly I must apologise that because the light has been so bad up here I was forced to use flash when taking this photo. I hope it's good enough to give you an idea what the card looks like. I inked up a brand new Magnolia stamp "Blueberry Tilda" and coloured her using my Copic Ciaos. The papers are all fro Kars' Speciality Paper Pad and the flowers are handmade and other trimmings from my stash.

Secret Crafters #62
Hi girls, welcome to my little spot in blogland. Thank you for calling in on me today. I hope that you find enough here to interest you and help motivate your mojo juices.
Well we had our first snow on Thursday. It snowed off and on all day and we have a good covering. Looking out of the window it looks really Christmassy because there are quite a few houses in our estate with lights outside. I just hope it doesn't freeze overnight because if it does we will be in trouble by the time most of you read this on Friday.
However to deal with the matter in hand, this card was made for the Secret Crafters challenge where the theme was "Snow". I have inked up not one but two of the new stamps available over at Crafty Sentiments - The "Snowman" and the "Post Box" - and I have combined them with one of the sentiments from one of their sets. The paper is Basic Grey's "Eskino Kisses - Village". The ribbon is from my stash and the snowflakes are handmade using snowflake punches.
Why not pop over to Crafty Sentiments Shop and have a look at what they have available to purchase - you won't be disappointed. I'm sure.
I hope you like this card and that you will be able to find time to leave a comment giving me your views on it, or anything else you see on my blog. Your opinions are greatly valued and always appreciated. Enjoy your crafting day.

Friday Sketchers #82 & Just Magnolia
Good morning girls, the big day is getting still closer and it won't be long until we've seen the last of making Christmas cards for another year. It will be nice to get a change.
It's getting very cold here and it wouldn't surprise me if we got some snow before too long. It would be nice if it came on Christmas Eve and melted on Christmas night. We can only hope.
However on to immediate business, this card has been made for two challenges. The sketch was provided by Friday Sketchers and the topic for this week's Just Magnolia was "It's Christmas". The image is Magnolia's "Santa - Santa Delivering Presents" coloured in using my trusty Copic Ciaos. The papers Re "The merry days of Christmas - Old St Nick" by My Mind's Eye and "St Nick Holly Berry" by Bo Bunny. The flowers are hand made and the other embellies are from my stash.
If you like this card and you have a minute to spare I would love it if you left a comment. I love reading them. Thank you for popping in and please feel free to come back any time. have a great crafting day whatever you are intending to create.

Charisma Cardz #49
Hi to all you girls out there in blogland who have decided to spare time to visit my little corner. It's nice to have you here. I hope you find something to gladden the heart and inspire you in your own creative efforts.
Got all my cards written and away and every one of them handmade - even down to the envelopes. I feel a great load lifted. A couple of pressies to buy and that's it. Who is feeling smug then?Lol.
I made this card to enter the current Charisma Cardz challenge that gave us a colour combo of "Red, Green & either White or Silver". I have chosen the white option and used white glitter card put through my Sissiz Bigshot in a Cuttlebug Snowflakes folder. I have combined this with Bo Bunny's 12" back to backs -"St Nick's Toyland". The image is a combination of Magnolia's "Sitting Santa" and "Chimney Top with Snow" coloured using my Copic Ciaos. The embellishments are all from my stash.
I hope you will like this card and would love you to leave a comment to let me have your views on it. It's great to know who has called in to my blog and I can identify any new visitors and call in on you. Go carefully and enjoy your crafting.

Simon Says ... Let it Snow
Hi again to anyone returning to my blog and a warm and friendly welcome to you if this is your first visit.
What a day this has been. Woke up to a driveway and local streets just one sheet of pure ice - not easy to negotiate on crutches (Santa please take them away when you leave me the new back and hips I asked for. Lol). 8:30am at the surgery for the nurse to dress the large sore on my heel. 2pm at the dentist for a regular checkup. 5pm back to the surgery for the same nurse, my pal Liz, to get my Swine Flu Injection (apparantly an asthmatic in my age group qualifies). Do I sound as though I'm moaning? - I hope not.
I made this card for the Simon Says .... Let it Snow challenge. I used two stamps here. The background is a new Magnolia image "Winter Forest" which I stamped on top of A Penny Black stamp " Caroling Trio" from the "Slapstick" range that I masked to give the effect of the furries in front of the trees. The paper is "Blizzard" by Doodlebug Designs Inc. I used Copics Ciaos and "Stickles" to colour the images and the flowers are handmade. The ribbon is from my stash of goodies (soon to be replenished by Santa I hope).
If you like this card why not let me know by leaving a comment. Every comment I get is treasured because I get so much joy reading them and so much help and encouragement from them. It's been a pleasure to have you and I hope you'll come back shortly - I try to post a card every day. Enjoy your carfting day.

Sketch & Stash #25
Hi Peeps. Great to have you visit my little blog. I hope you enjoy your stay and find something to bring a little inspiration.
Well hubby got the outside lights up today and he may as well saved himself the bother. It is so foggy here that you can't see them across the street. Lol. However when (or if) it clears up I'm sure they'll make the place look very Chrismassy.
Anyway I had better get back to business. This card was made for this week's Sketch and Stash challenge where they gave us a fantastic image to follow. I have inked up Magnolia's "Tilda with Christmas Presents" and coloured her with my Copic Ciaos. The backing paper is My Mind's Eye's "Colourful Christmas" (I think) and I have used some new lace ribbon I bought recently. It runs vertically and across the middle of the card although it is almost obsured by the image and the handmade flower. I also used a Martha Stewart Doily Lace punch to create two borders in different shades of blue. The small flowers were made using petals punched out on various small punches.
I really hope you find this pleasing to the eye and would love to read any comments you might chose to leave. It would really make my day if you could find time to let me know you had visited. Thank you for popping in - hope you come back soon.

The flowers are handmade and the other embellishments are from my stash.
I do hope you like this card and that you will do me the favour of leaving a comment to record your visit and let me know what you think. I appreciate your visit and hope you found it enjoyable. have a good day crafting.

Creative Inspirations #22 & Allsorts Challenge #30
Hi Girls, great to see you here today. I hope you find something during your visit to please the eye or give inspiration. I am so pleased you have taken time to have a peek at my blog. Two weeks to go nearly getting past the panicky stage - it's almost too late to panic.
This card today is to be entered into two challenges. Creative Inspirations gave a great sketch to follow and the Allsorts Challenge wanted something in "Purple". I hope this fits the bill. Friday is also my day for posting a card on the Crafty Sentiments blog using a stamp and sentiment from their range. If you are interested why not pop over there to see what is available by clicking on the shop link in my sidebar.
The image is "Lulu" coloured with my Copic Ciaos with a splash of flowersoft added. The papers are a mixture of the main colour and reverse side of Stampin Up's "Perfect Plum". The embellishments are all from my stash except the flowers which are hand made.
If you like this card I would really appreciate it if you left a comment to let me know you've been. I can assure you that I will enjoy any contribution you make. Thanks again for your visit.

Just Magnolia #34
Good morning girls. Welcome to my little space on blogland. I'm glad you could visit and hope that what you see will appeal to you. The weather is a bit better today - a bit frosty but dry. I hope your having a good day where you are.
I have made this card for this week's Just Magnolia challenge where the requirement was to make something for "Someone Special". I have used Magnolia's "Tilda with large Christmas Gift" and coloured her using my Copic Ciaos. The papers are both sides of My Mind's Eye's "Colourful Christmas - Snowflake Stripes". The flowers are homemade and the other embellies are from my stash except for the sentiment which was made on my laptop using Microsoft Word.
I hope you like this card enough to leave me a comment. I really love reading them. They are so encouraging. Thanks for spending the time here. Have a great crafting day.

Cute Card Thursday #89
Good morning. Thank you for calling in to my blog. I'm pleased your here. I hope that you find a little joy while your here. Wednesday again and only two more before Christmas - Frightening!! Still I have to go into Perth today to get my eyes tested (annual inspection) first thing and after lunch I have a hospital appointment (again) so hubby thinks we should finish off (well start & finish really) our Christmas shopping between the two.
I made this card to enter into Cute Card Thursday with the Theme "Swirly Girly". I inked up Magnolia's "Merry Christmas Tilda". The papers are "Eskimo Kisses (Thin Ice)" by Basic Grey and "Winter Wonderland (Winter Words)" by Crafts House. Some of the flowers are homemade and some are from my stash.
I hope you like this card enough to leave a comment to let me know your views. I would love to know that you had visited so that I can call in on you. I really appreciate your visit and thank you for sparing the time. Enjoy your crafting today.

Creative Inspirations #37 & Secret Crafter #61
It's a great privilege to have you visit my little blog. I do hope you find something that makes you feel that your visit was worthwhile. I can tell from my blog hops that we are all beginning to panic slightly at the rate Christmas is approaching so I hope your preparations are on target. I wish mine were.
Anyway to business - this card is being entered into two challenges. The Creative Inspirations challenge which requires a "Christmas Card & Tag Set" and Secret Crafters that asks for a "Matching Set". This is unforgivable but I don't know what the stamp is - it's one of a batch my Daughter-in-Law inked up for me a while ago. It is coloured using my Copic Ciaos and glittered over. The orange paper is My Mind's Eye - "Colourful Christmas (Gumdrop Sprinkles)", The lilac one is glitter board and the blue one is unknown. The flowers are handmade and the embellishments are from my stash. The sentiments for both are from Crafty Sentiments and the stamp on the back of the tag is from Forever Friends.
I enjoyed making these and I hope you like them. I would love you to leave a comment to let me know what you think and to let me know you've been. Thank you for taking the time to visit. I really appreciate it.

Papertake Weekly #29 & A Spoon Full of Sugar #80
Thank you for coming to see my wee blog. I appreciate you taking the time to pop by for a visit. I hope you find something that you like and maybe even give you some ideas for your own projects. I don't know how your fairing but I'm getting a bit fed up with this rain day after day. It's cold and I fear we are in for worse to come.
Anyway enough of that - this card is being entered into two challenges. It follows the great sketch given by Papertake Weekly and follows the theme of "No Red or Green" required by A Spoon Full of Sugar. I have used anither of my favourite Magnolia stamps "Tilda with Piglet" and coloured her using my Copic Ciaos. The papers are Basic Grey's "Eskimo Kisses - Village" and Crafts House's "Winter Wonderland wonder words". I used white glitter card embossed using a Cuttlebug Snowflakes folder. The snowflakes were made using a Nesties No1 Snowflakes set on white and lilac glitter card.
Please don't leave without leaving a comment letting me know you've been here. I would love to read your views on this card and if I know you've been I can visit back. Thanks for you time.
Hugs,
